Since this is a hybred class with access to ranged wespons.

What is the definition of ‘within reach’

Since the range is based on weapon used

Reach is defined in the Keywords section of Chapter IV (page 109) as follows:

Reach – A distance up to as far as a character could touch a target with her hand or strike him with a melee weapon she is wielding.
