Laws and Rights of the Empire, October 1218 was created by Aleister (Aleister)
Laws of the Empire as Dictated by Duke Edgar Balliol, October 1218

None shall bring harm to, or murder a Citizen.
None shall engage in Blackmail or Extortion against a Citizen.
None shall commit Sedition or Treason against the Empire.
None shall steal from or invade the domain of a Citizen.
These crimes are punished by summary execution.

Rights of the Citizenry
A Citizen is one who actively performs a service for the Empire of Kormyre. These right extend only to those above the age of 13.
If a child under 13 commits a crime, their guardian will be held responsible.
Military Service for the Empire affords permanent Citizenship.

A Citizen has the right to a trial if there is doubt of guilt in a crime.
A Citizen has the right to a fair paying job which will be provided.
A Citizen has the right to inheritance of property, upon death of a family member.
