Thank you to everyone. I cannot stress enough how much your efforts help improve our chances.

Let it be know that any who wish to help are still welcome, whether Kormyrian or Gaaldronian. I will hear none of these vile rumors about our allies on our patrols. Hogtooth and his are our allies. Whoever is spreading these rumors merely wishes to continue to divide us further. We must stand strong and stand together. I will gladly cross blades in honor combat with any who wish to continue tarnishing the name of the Empire or our Gaaldronian allies.

For the life of me, I could not understand a symbol on any of those notices but Mother Eliana claims to have them translated. Would you not cross blades with those who purport to speak ill of our country and her people? With all the logic you have shown us thus far, that should be the due course of action and to you, I offer my whetstone for that righteous cause.

I see no reason to. They speak from a place of not knowing. Their way of life differs from ours. And I meant what I said to them. I would rather help assuage their fears and concerns than add to them. I have taken the time to drink with and get to know some of them. How many of you can say the same?

Unfortunately Enku has stepped back from patrols for the time being. They know they are always welcome should they choose to return. You are more than welcome to come along with me, or if you have friends you are more comfortable with I will not be offended. All I ask is that you come a little early so we can coordinate groups and routes to ensure the best coverage.

So long as the line between tarnishing and unknowingly tarnishing is clearly demarcated, I am inclined to agree. Yet, I urge caution with a potential outcropping of agents whose sole purpose is to spread discord in this land, what with word of the Count's connections on the wind. Just as you, Squire, are watching out for our safety, the same should be done in-kind should the reports prove true.
