The Knight Realms "Alt" Event!

May 29th -31st  Shehaqua will be the "Alt" event. Please note that this is NOT the next event, but the first of the back-to-back events.

We originally did the "Alt" weekend last year as a 10th anniversary event. Prior to it actually taking place, it met some resistance from players, but almost all of the players who went to it loved it and requested that we try to do more of them.

An "Alt" event is an event that is different than a normal Knight Realms event. Everyone PC's at about the same level, we provide an interesting plot surrounding this alternate aspect of the KR world, and everyone enjoys the opportunity to play something different than their normal KR characters for the weekend, and without a large level discrepancy between PCs. The plot comes to an end, early Saturday night and all are allowed to revert to their normal characters, in the normal game world for the remainder of the weekend. Anyone who attends gets credit for their normal PCs while playing these alts.

As we get closer to the "Alt" weekend, we will announce more information. In the meantime, start thinking of that class, or race, or character concept that you always wanted to mess around with!

Is there any system to pre-approve the alternate characters, or will we all just show up and besiege anyone misfortunate enough to be designated as a marshall.

P.S.: I was looking through the racial rules in maing an alternate character, and I noticed the rules for a hobbit provided that they were suppose to add fake hair to the tops of their feet.  So I was wondering, do I get any sort of bonus if I don't need to add fake hair to the tops of my feet?

Yeah, less time in make-up prep.
