All Valance related questions should be solved by #9 on the original post.

The following updates have been approved:

[hr]

The prayer Lay Hands (from the Life Domain) now heals 32 Body.

The Druid spell Germinate now covers an area with a 10' radius from the caster.

The Wizardry spell Suppress Magic now suppresses 16 MP instead of 50.

The Psionic ability Cell Adjustment now heals 6 Body instead of 2.

The Wild Mage spell Wild Blood now heals 4 Body instead of 3.

The Smithing skill Balance Armor now costs 1/10 the total AP of the armor being balanced, in CP.

The Smithing Promotion has been updated to be 1 Crafting Point per 1 Build of skills embedded.  The limit of 15 Build worth of skills remains unchanged.  Smiths who have already purchased the skill will not have their item revoked or changed, but will need to catch up on the build difference before spending more build.

Sorcery Wands now hold up to 3 MP per Rank of the wand.

Faith Point Losses for Piety infractions have been changed to the following:
1st Degree: -5FP for 3 months
2nd Degree: -10FP for 4 months
3rd Degree: -15FP for 5 months
4th Degree: -20FP for 6 months

[hr]

The above changes will be made in the Online Rulebook shortly.

Still under review:

Feign Death (Warlock)
Feign Life (Necromancer)
Detect Life (Healer)
Soothe (Healer)
Germinate (Gaian Prayer)

Because I've already been asked... ;)

Psions and Wild Mages did not get a proportionate boost to their healing abilities because they are not classes designed to be healers - their abilities are secondary in nature.  As such, they CAN heal, but not as well as someone whose purpose is to do so.

Also, with the adjustment in points, the Cell Adjustment discipline went UP in casting cost from 1 PsiP to 2 PsiP, in addition to the new ratio.  As such, it got more of an overall bump than Wild Blood, even if the actual ratio was lessened.

Whoa, call me dense, but the old ratio of 1 pt to body was 1/3 of a build for 2 body.  The new ratio is 6 times worse, IIRC.  Not spending the time to look it up, as Edwin could not possibly care less.

It was 1 Psi Point = 2 body.  Strictly converted, it would be 2 points should be 12 body.  Now it's 2 points = 6 body.

As I said, they're not meant to be healers. ;)  6 body is STILL more than your average human commoner has.

I don't understand why you would increase the cost of the smithing promo from 15 build to 20 build after all is said and done. I thought that this career point rebalance was to help people do faster calculations in their head not to nerf or over complicate any of the lists or abilities. All that seems to have come from this change is resistance from players and dilution several well used skills.
