The forecast for the March Event at Sac is looking about as good as it can get so far - clear and sunny all three days of the event.
Regardless of the sky's conditions, the more important thing to be prepared for - the ground.
The campsite will be one massive, messy, mud pit.
I cannot emphasize this enough. With the large amount of precipitation, followed by the ground thawing and re-freezing, turns the camp into hell on your garb, especially your footwear. I've seen people lose tightly laced Son of Sandlar boots in this mud.
In order to ensure you don't get banned from your own household on going home, it is advised you bring at least two spare sets of footgear, and keep them wrapped in plastic bags. Also, bring lots and lots of warm, dry socks.

If anyone has gaiters, either full or half, I suggest bringing them. I'll certainly be wearing mine.

NPC of the Month
Michelle Moravek as Siobhan, the Hibernian Shanahy
Michelle Moravek as Siobhan, the Hibernian Shanahy (Spell singer). She made it a point to be around the town all the time, getting in the middle of everything. In addition, the number of players that came to other key NPCs with questions and/or information that were referred to them by Siobhan was incredible. Michelle hasn’t been seen at KR in a few years, but is known by some older players as a great role-player and this event she really threw herself into the action and made sure that the NPC Hibernians were well represented at all times. She was unflappable, despite the roller coaster of alternating indifference and bombardment she was faced with by the town and active PCs. Honorable mentions goes to the crew that helped with Bob's mod: you guys did a great job! Also, to Goose as Kendall Macleod... awesome job!Michelle Moravek as Siobhan, the Hibernian Shanahy
