Scorching Touch
3 MP; Traits: Defense, Latent
This spell quickly heats the caster’s clothing and flesh to such a powerful degree that she cannot be physically grappled, held, or bound. Skills or effects that involve holding the target or binding them with objects fail, and the attacker lets go of the mage, or the binding implements are ruined. This spell does not work on non-flammable bindings, such as metal manacles.

The Jaxuarian racial skill Claw Hardening has been renamed Claw Fortitude.

The Jaxuarian racial skill Claw Fortitude has been renamed Claw Hardening, to bring it in line with the terminology used for NPCs. Additionally, it has been reworded as follows:
"With this skill, a character is able to block weapon attacks with her claws without taking damage."

The Jaxuarian racial skill Claw Hardening has been renamed Claw Fortitude.

The Jaxuarian racial skill Claw Fortitude has been renamed Claw Hardening, to bring it in line with the terminology used for NPCs. Additionally, it has been reworded as follows:
"With this skill, a character is able to block weapon attacks with her claws without taking damage."

so...which is it? ???

The names were swapped, to make them consistent with the skills that NPCs and Sith, etc. used.

Yes, I know. There were two skills - Claw Fortitude, and Claw Hardening. Both already existed. We swapped the names, so they are reversed from what they used to be.

If you're confused, just look at the Skill List under "C" for Claws, and it will clarify everything.
