I am always a designated driver, for what it is worth. 

Will there be drinking allowed that night?  Will people be able to sleep over that night?

Out of curiosity and just a point to think about, but will Sac's hall be heated enough for it? It'll be pretty chilly if it's only heated as it is now. Boys might be ok in their suits, but girls will definitely be cold in formal dresses, since shoulders and arms are typically bared.

Adding on to what Kate said, Were doing this at the camp and not the hotel. Why would we dress formal?

The heat issue of the main hall is being worked on. : )

I think its very sweet that there's going to be a banquet on my birthday.
