Rules for Retaking the Homeworld:

Necrons are swarming and must be stopped! Problem is, there are just far too many. Taking them on full force isn't the best solution, but getting some key points will clearly give the advantage for pushing them back.

It could take the collective effort of more than just one faction, but to stave off the onslaught, truces must be made.

The Necron Army will be comprised of 4,000 points worth of units. There will be a number of objectives based on how many participants are involved.

The points to play will be split amongst everyone involved to complete an opposing 4,000 point army. (4 people can have 1,000 point armies each, 5 people get 800, 10 get 400, etc.)

The goal is to capture the objectives within 3 turns.

A mystery prize will be given to the surviving victors as commemoration for defeating the army of the dead!

I would love to sign up for X-Wing coming this January. Not sure if I have to sign my name in blood somewhere in order to do so.

As a member of the Slugfest Games demo team (aka Slugcrew), I'll be bringing a bunch of board/card games that I'll be only too happy to show people and teach how to play. I own Slugfest's entire line of games, which are:

Fishing For Terrorists: Play this game or the terrorists win! The classic game of Go Fish, using new mechanics and hilarious parody terrorist groups.

Kung Fu Fighting: Martial arts combat, Hong Kong cinema style!

En Garde: Civilized combat, from a more sophisticated age.

Tiki Mountain: The Angry Volcano God is angry! Be the first to appease (re: sacrifice yourself to) the Angry Volcano God so no one else has to.

High Noon Saloon: An old west barroom shootout!

I'll be there probably around 7PM, and ready and willing to get started right away.

The first Game Knight of 2014 went in solid! Some great demos with the Slugfest games turned into serious matches when it went down to the wire. Red Dragon Inn was shot for shot until two were left with just enough fortitude to pound down another beer.

Munchkin showed us who the real powergamers were and who to watch out for when you get back into Travance! Even worse, in Munchkin Apocolypse it became a race to end the world. The 7 seals were opened in record time with a level 60 combat ending the game.

Finally, after the Eldar had dispatched of the Ultramarine contingent left on a deserted world, they learned all too soon how the rest of the space marines had lost their lives. Warrior after warrior rose from the sand. Destroyers and Crypteks warped in from a strange runed pillar. The Eldar had found themselves on a Necron homeworld. 4,000 Points of Eldar forces scattered to contain the uprising. More and more warped in. Looming overhead was a sight of true terror to their soldiers. The Monolith descended and unleashed hundreds of Necron Warriors, blasting away at the Eldar. Once again, a match of close calls; In the eleventh hour, victory was in sight for the Eldar. Shots were fired, but in the end, the Necron army was just too great and the planet was reclaimed by the metal-bodied undead.

More Slugfest!

I'll be back at the next Game Knight with all of my Slugfest Games. We had a great time playing last time and we only played two of the games I brought! Here's hoping for more this time around.

Also I'm trying to get in touch with Slugfest about possible prize support, so stay tuned!

What time does the Game Knight start?
Is there some place we have to sign up for specific games or do we just show up with some stuff to play?

Game Night starts at 6PM and there is no need to sign up for games. Just show up and bring armies or games you'd like to play!

Again we will have a 4,000 Point Necron Army waiting to take its next victims. Do you have what it takes to destroy their forces?

We will be setting up a Pokemon X&Y Tournament.
Once we get everyone who intends to participate, we'll set up brackets and fight to win!
6 Pokemon, rules of engagement can be determined by the two battling.

Ladies and gents, the warm weather is coming back and that's no reason to stay indoors!

May's Game Night will see the beginning of an exciting new game!

2 Weeks from now come to Game Night and experience areas of the Knight Realms game world outside of Travance in tabletop form.
We will be starting a campaign that will allow you to play characters in a different setting outside of the normal playing area.

Below is the basic overview complete with necessary rules. Please do not hesitate to ask more questions!
May will mostly be spent working on characters, but if we get done quickly, we can get into the game!

Basic Summary:
Arawyn has been devastated by the demonic invasion led by Abyssal Lord Xualla. Titanic abyssal creatures roam the world, still causing ruination. While the people of the world try to fight back the forces of the demons still left, the titans are unmatched and none have yet to be stopped. Rumor has gone reached the corners of Arawyn that the heroes of Travance were able to drive a titan back into the abyss at the beginning of the invasion. Adventurers and would be do-gooders flock to the town of heroes to train in hopes that they can aid in the rebellion against the evil that walks the face of the planet.
Within the barony of Fenrick, the lake harbors a horrible beast. One of the titans has taken residence deep under the water, preventing fisherman from working and trade barges from sailing along the rivers. And now, some 4 months later, the titan has awakened and every day the lake drains just a little bit more. Soon it will rise from the crater and destroy the cities around it and eventually Kormyre. Something stirs in the city of Fandar. Will you be the hero to rise and stop the beast?

Campaign Rules:
• Characters begin at level 5. Stats are rolled at 4d6, dropping lowest and rerolling 1s.
• Characters may begin play with 100g and 5,000g worth of equipment.
• Banned Classes: Incarnum Classes, Paladin, Tome of Magic Classes. If the class is not standard, please ask first.
• Dragon Magazine, Ebberon, Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft books are banned. Please stick to the core system. If you are unsure about a book, please ask!
• Banned Races: Gnome (and variants), Race Templates, Half Giant, Goliath. If the race is not standard, please ask first.
• Banking Wealth – A player may bank the treasure received in the campaign at the end of every session, if they are still alive at the end. This wealth can then be transferred to a valid Knight Realms PC at an appropriate exchange rate. All wealth and treasure will be matched appropriately.
• When a character dies, the player may receive the character’s level minus the initial 5 in build for a valid Knight Realms PC as a thank you for participating in the campaign. The player may reroll a new character, but this build exchange may only happen for the first character played within the campaign.
• Sessions will only take place at Game Night and last about 3-4 hours.
• Anyone is welcome to join or leave as the campaign runs.
