OK, so here's the deal on choosing sets:

Their Tiny and Smalls are too small for us to use.

The color of the coin is linked to it size - Mediums are Bonze (will count as Gold for us), Larges are Silver, Jumbos are Gold.

NO DOUBLOONS. They are too small. I originally wanted them because they were labeled I, V, X, but they're too small, and will be the wrong colors (Copper & Brass).

Their Mediums are our 1 Gold coins, and come 40 to a Set (or more, due to Kickstarter bonuses).

Their Larges are our 5 Silver coin, and come 25 to a Set (or more, due to Kickstarter bonuses).

Their Jumbos are our 10 Gold coins, and come 15 to a Set (or more, due to Kickstarter bonuses).

In order to prevent everyone from flooding the game with 10 Gold coins ONLY, here's the rules:

You cannot donate more sets of Larges, than sets of Mediums.

For every Jumbo set, you must donate 2 Larges first.

So if you ordered 10 sets, you could donate 4 Medium sets, 4 Large sets, and 2 Jumbo sets.

You can choose to donate just Mediums, or Mediums and Larges, instead of Jumbos, if you want.

When the time comes to pick your sets (They will email you), pick sets of Mediums, Larges, or Jumbos of the art of your choice. The number of coins in the set will vary - larger coins will have less in a set than smaller ones. Please try to avoid coins that have historical words on them (i.e. - avoid the Roman coins with "Caesar," but the Pirate coins are fine, as are the Mythological, Greek, and Egyptian ones. Foreign alphabets won't ruin immersion as much as the roman alphabet will...). Full art will be posted on www.cqgames.com/ when it's ready.

When you turn in a full set at Knight Realms, you will be credited 1 Build and 1,000 SP per set, following the rules above.

Cory, I am glad you are in charge of this, because after reading Geoff's post, figuring this out sounds like one of those scary logic puzzles on the SATs :)

So, in other words, all mediums and the donor will be following the rules, right?

An update from the company making the coins:

www.kickstarter.com/projects/cqgames/the...ns-ever/posts/597629

Important bits:

1) You will have the chance to increase your pledge, or to get in on the action, once their website is updated.

2) "This will hold open until all art is final and all molds are made. At that point, your orders will "lock" and production of the coins will begin. We're guessing that will be around November 1. We've been quoted 45 days for production, and five weeks for shipping from China. So, if this schedule holds, around January 20 the coins will be at fulfillment and the process of shipping will begin."

I was going to pick my coins, and it seems they kept changing on me to the point where I don't know if what I wanted to pick is appropriate anymore. I wanted to grab some out of mythlogical creatures, but I noticed the writing on them may not be appropriate.

Can we get a list of acceptable categories to pick coins from?

Avoid Roman, Middle Ages, Egyptian, and Doubloons / Pieces of Eight. All the others should be good. (It's mostly the references to historical names we want to avoid.)
