Deployment

For those that know him, Greg S. deployed right around the new year to Afghanistan.  I don't have much more in the way of details, nor do I have a mailing address yet for him.  But I can pass along well wishes to him.

For those that don't know him, Greg S. is a Marine that used to play KR regularly up until about 2000/2001 when we finished up school and he went to active duty.  He plays Nigel Stormbringer, one of the original Paladins at KR.  He has continued to come to events over the past few years, and used to even fly in from California once or twice a year to play.  Greg's been deployed a number of times, I think this makes number 4, since the war started.  Hopefully he'll make it back to an event when he returns from his deployment.  Greg also plays an NPC near and dear to everyone's heart, Lord Fallow.

We will keep Greg in our thoughts and hope he comes home soon.

Ya send him and his family my best as well.

Got word from Greg:

"Thanks for the thoughts and concerns.  I am doing well and thoroughly enjoying my work.  It is busy, exhausting, interesting and, most of all, rewarding.  I appreciate KR's and Roy's continued support and look forward to playing on my return after the wife and kids let me out of the house."
