can we have a rough outline of the new system even though its not completely ready?

Sorry, no.  We don't release stuff like that unless its completely finalized.  This is largely because this could cause confusion over what are the actual rules if things change, etc.

the only reason we even went this far is because we know the players of Wild Mages have been getting the shaft for awhile because there have not been envelopes and we wanted to get them something as fast as possible.

If the old rules were a regular cheese pizza, what are the new ones? Thin crust? New toppings on a normal pizza? Deep Dish? Sicilian?
