LOL. Well.... we saw the city in the distance, and were like, "Is that... Atlantic City?" So we kept driving, but after about 5 minutes we saw the -Welcome To- Sign and turned around to drive for 3 more hours north.

You guys realize that Atlantic City is on an island right?mapquest lies!I'm still too beat to post, but winding up in AC while driving from Wilmington to Sparta is a feat that will probably never be equaled.

Highlights:
Friday:
-Having Hamish Twice A Year try to talk me up to everyone I met
-Discussing astronomy and nature with Lois Maxwell and Professor Jack Cypher
-Delicious apple cider
Saturday:
-Naming the goblins that wandered into our camp early in the morning
-Fighting zombies in my boxers at 5am
-Nearly having my face blown off in said fight
-Walking sans kilt to the inn with Billiam to use the fancy privy
-Inventing the "Half Naked Celts" song to ward off attackers on the return trip
-NPCing as a giant spider and more importantly, as a member of the Kormyrian Groove Guild
-Singing Old Lord Pyre at Feast (Hope everyone enjoyed it)
-Having fun at the expense of my in-game brother in law Cyric
-Telling jokes and stories with Jack Cypher, Iz'tel, and Laurel around the couches
-Having my accent become more incomprehensible as the night went on
Sunday:
-Listening to Hamish and Billiam talk about Gideon's "birthing hips" and their plan to have Hamish court Gideon
-Learning teach from Lois (good lecture!)
-Huddling over a giant bowl of chili with the rest of the clan
-Being the hero of the MacKregor camp for bringing Gold Bond Powder to the event
Lowlights
-Too hot, I'm definitely a cold weather creature
-Need to get more comfortable footwear
-Still getting used to the rules of the game and such
-Ended up losing my cloth cap somewhere in the inn

Baltimore isn't that far. A crowd from DC traveled to Philly to play in a Vampire Larp.

You're giving up because of BALTIMORE? Cry me a river! That's what... 3-4 hour drive? It takes me that long to get to brooklyn from the GWB if there's bad traffic!
"Ok we can attack... but if we miss, we'll hit the villagers."
"I'm willing to take that chance!"
Things I am no longer allowed to do in an RPG :
31. The backup trap handler is not whoever has the most HP at the time.
73. Not allowed to name my cudgel Ceremonial Whoopass Stick.
74. My thief's battle cry is not "Run And Live"
