I should think you'd be able to come up with more intelligent ways of passing the weekend, being as experienced as you apparently are.

Unfortunately, standards of friendliness and maturity cannot carry into a pretend world when they are not exercised in the real one.

Relax, it had nothing to do with you, it was a misquote, followed by a doggedly stubborn insistence that the scholar had heard correctly.

The Drynad in question was Charna, and she's actually a Satyr... but you try convincing Gabriel Von Druke of that, by now he has firmly decided that she's a Drynad, a mix of Dryad and Naiad.  And not to be trusted, as she seemingly vanished from our table during dinner.  Like a ninja.

Maybe she's a Satynja?

Plus... it just sounded weird and funny at the moment it was said... at stupid o;clock in the morning.  I think it's a "you had to be there" moment.
