Let's start at the beginning.
Pre Lay on, Definitely making an ass out of myself confusing people.
First NPC shift, being the first group to go out as the barbarians, fun times save for the ice rink that was the road to Winterdark. Playing a bouncer for the blackbird, reminds me why I lay low lol. Having Goose implant suggestion me to leave the inn but then gathering a bunch of barbarians to attack the smokers, sorry Charlie.
Oh dark 30, making a fresh divot in the snow at Pendarvin.
Saturday morning, woke up without being attacked and did some of my typical hey who needs things made gig. Leaving the barracks to find the elk right outside. It was odd to try to roleplay with something that doesn't talk. Having a moment of wow maybe I should worship mother nature after the elk blesses me with barkskin and it's used not 6 minutes later to defend against a rat bite.
Guarding at market faire (if you've never had a sandwich from Charlie S., you best change that) and having a good RP session with Imrahil which leaves me to believe I need to work on getting my point across a little better next time.
Roleplaying with brother Aldric to find information about the gods. And standing guard/ soul searching while he naps. Multiple people coming into the barracks asking for strange things, btw Nalick, Will produced the baking sheets during cabin clean up.
Tower mod, Once again, getting my ass kicked and pissing people off with my tower shield. Feeling useful for once cause I got to field repair. Playing blocker to get people up and out. Realizing that my cousin is still in there and then I got pissed off cause my character wanted to go back but my body said fool no.
Missing the meat at feast, the veg option still very good and the post feast clean up.
Sunday morning, woken up by grim, then vampires came in and wrecked most of us up. The ice elementals, not so much.
Going to the inn for the chainmail class Edmund put together, very cool, thank you and it's always a pleasure RP with ya.
Post KR diner experience, definitely a good time, wish I could do it again next event.

I am far overdue for an event recap. As in this is my first one. Yiss.
Starting off with Friday NPC shift:
I became the king of both busted asses and moves on the ice. Fell more times than I'd like to admit.
I ended up getting tortured as an NPC. Our group took Duncan's sword in a tussle we got in near Ostcliff. Through multiple insults I was caught and tortured. Twice. The NPC group got separated so I really wasn't lying when I said I had no idea where the sword was. That tidbit didn't save my NPC's life though.
Saturday's shenanigans:
I had the misfortune of breaking my streak. I am usually up before everyone else in the cabin and end up terrifying someone while putting on my face and getting ready. I actually got good sleep this event and missed my cue. Dang.
Nemuth took the first step to academia, and learned the proper ways of being a scholar from Amizar and Miss Maxwell. Any more learning from Amizar and I would have picked up the proper way for lady chasing... (Costs 2 build?)
*Nemuth has, by far, well outdid himself this event. His slightly dark sense of humor had him make quite a grand entrance to what happened to be a meeting of knights, lords, and even the Seneschal. It is hands-down my favorite story to tell about Nemuth and was easily the crowning moment of my character. (So far)
I actually went on the tower mod. It was out of character because Nemuth is adamantly adverse to almost all things martial, but I figured there is only a certain amount of times I could go on it. It was fantastically done and I applaud every person associated. That was the first time I truly feared losing a life tag. I blew every healing point I had sans one. It was the little heal point that could.
I met Chris Zipeto this event, and he said quickly he was a Storyteller/RP Marshall and wanted to talk after the Tower mod. I feared that my character had something fishy and might get a rules violation or something else not happy. He ended up asking my character story because he likes all things strange, and gave some great ideas on what I could do for my character that I am (time and finances allow) definitely going to add before next event.
Sunday:
Karkat beckoned me over and asked something of me. Karkat asked if he could invert my skull and replace it back in my head. The group he was with consisting of Swyft, Imrahil, and a few others, had a collective look of sheer terror and dismay, strongly suggesting I do not let him. I did not agree- but I did not refuse, and watched as both sides desperately tried to get me to not listen to the other. I gave Karkat permission, but the condition that afterwards I could re-emerge in whatever fashion I wish and he took back his offer near instantly.
This was a glorious event.
The only minor lowlight was a wide swing of a shield hitting my staff caused one gem to come loose and the other fall out of the skull's eye sockets. So he's temporarily blind. And he's also dead.

Oh, man, this game was a fun one.
Coming into game portaling in from Coast Haven with George and Ilana. Yay wild mage adventures! And to think we only burned down ONE building!
Guessing early on that I'd be pretty useless against the barbarian tribes... and all the ignore magics and spell cleaves I saw certainly proved me right. But that didn't stop me from getting involved or having a good time!
Kaladonia mod! Yip yip!
Late night drunkenness at the bar, all the while telling tales of adventures, Lorestri, and Baronesses past to new players. Thank you guys for being such awesome role-players! Any time you want me to dump lore on your heads, lemme know!
Finding out that there were wild mages getting sacrificed to Miranda quickly dampened the mood.
Boryev's clever plan of disguising someone as an elf, and then immediately going outside and shouting "Elk!" was not a good idea when the Cheveyo were right outside. Needless to say, they didn't take kindly to the joke.
Undergoing the trials of the Cheveyo, and while failing at most of them, two moments of the trial stood out.
When Sindarion asked for the shaman to cast the runes for him after failing to draw the elk rune, all of them turned up blank. He went on to explain that that meant his fate was unwritten and that it was up to him to write his own story, and that he hoped he would use it in favor of the Cheveyo. Seeing the confusion on the shaman's face was interesting, and made Sindarion realize that it's as much of a responsibility as it is a freeing thing. It was a sobering moment for him.
And then peyote happened. "MY STIIIIICK!"
Many thanks for Teresa and Jen for letting me be the impromptu bass for "A Bar in Travance!" We definitely need to sing more songs like that in game, and that applies to Tori and May as well!
NPC SHIIIIFT!
Oh my goodness, playing an Aguarran high priest was wonderful.
The epic one-on-one with Templar Rayven was ultimately what threw out my voice for the rest of the weekend, but man, oh, man, it was worth it. "WHY WON'T YOU DIEEEEEEE"
Oh, wait, so did that little torture sesh with Silas CROOOOOOOONE
Keeping the same stats during the bigger main mod battle was even better. Having a larger group and roughly 300 faith points and continuous arc-casting meant ALL THE BLADE OF VICTORIES. Red, Blue, and Green, ftw
Finding Grimkjells helmet on the ground, then donning it as an NPC... then Angeliana and Astrid brought me back up, thinking I was him. Whoops. ARCING SURGE CAST PAIN PARALYSIS, YAAAAAY
Highlight of that battle was definitely approaching that group in the back of the battlefield, asking if anyone was hurt... "So none of you are in pain? Let's change that."
Also giving Belegor the best curse ever.
Saturday post-midnight actually brought on a touching scene between Sindarion and Gregory. For a short while, he actually started to see Gregory in a new light... and then he played the whole "psions are better than everyone else" card. Nevertheless, great scene. Well played, indeed.
Sunday was relatively uneventful, but all the learning that happened made up for it. DAT LORE.
And finally, getting arcing cast. Only one step away from getting Absolute Power... then next stop, ELEMENTAL WARDEN

Oh boy what an event. I just want to take a moment to make another shout out to all the storytellers and coordinators for this event because even though I wasn't a barbarian, this story still felt really immersive and fun to be a part of, both as an NPC and a PC. And, of course, a shout out to all the players fantastic role play, to which the game would be nothing without.
Now onto the goodies.
Now onto the goodies.
- Fredrick Mod was fantastic once again, thank you Matt for all you do for the newer players making awesome stories for them to be a part of that make us feel badass without completely overwhelming us. Great role play from Matt and Ricky.
- Winter night patrols are always cool! haha... I'll stop. The snow storm and the midnight fights with the Vinir were really awesome to be a part of, until I started getting hypothermic...

- Waking up in the middle of the night to "Killing Blow 3, Killing Blow 4, Killing Blow 5... I start looting your body, check your pockets... OH GOD I KILLED MAVEITH! I NEED A HEALER!!"
- Being a vinir roaming around as a badass Dragoon Beserker double heroic triple master warrior. Laughing at my 420 body. Swinging for 60's with puncture armor for days.
- Taking part of tower mod making the newer players sweat for their money and taking part in the torturing of Forest. Much torture, such pain, wow.
- The feel of a warm barracks after being in the cold NPC'ing for 6 hours.
- The look on my face when I casually walk up to dispatch a rowdy bunch of ogres to eat a roundhouse incap to the face followed by my limbs getting rended like I was stuck in a meat grinder.
- Chasing an illithid only for a fight to be teased in front of my face and then taken away.
- Arden trying to diffuse a sticky situation involving kobolds, goblins, winter, spring, snow, and SCIENCE!
- "Snow is just frozen water!" states Arden "LIES LIES LIES" screech the goblins.
- Arden then sending the goblins north by accident telling them they'll find a nice warm place if they go there.
- All the early morning training on sunday with great roleplay.
- Legitimately blocking Steven's attack with my eyes legitimately closed while learning how to blind fight. I did not expect me to do that lol
- Getting the crap beat out of me by some ten different people to learn resilience and pretending to be a badass at the end of it.

A ton of my favorite moments have already been reported from the other side, so I'll try and stick to the big ones.
-Another thank-you to everyone who came to check on Londwyn Tent. Not Getting Crushfrozen is a fantastic perk.
-Debuting Pioneer Surgeon. Ironically, the graveyard was too snowed over for me to make my way out there during the event, but I made use of everything else. Definitely standing at a character crossroads in terms of where to go next!
-Some amazing conversations with people I knew decently which I got to know way better. Lois and Imrahil were the big ones.
-Grimkjell's Amnesia. Being personally familiar with a patient may give you more information, but can make the treatment even harder. Was a great scene.
-Londwyn Pre-party party!
-This event seemed to be more about what amazing things I saw and less about what I did. Attending Great Council was terrifying in a unique way. Seeing 3 of Travance's greatest in a shouting match on the road was something else.
-Doing some unique work with the Guard, despite my odd position in the ranks.
- Dang, Elk. You Majestic. The weather definitely helped amplify the feeling.
