Greetings, I'm relatively new to Knight Realms, I have never been to an event, nor do I know if will ever get the chance. However, if I do get the chance to participate, I know that I would be an Archer. I've run into a little bit of a problem, though. I'm having a very difficult time finding a recurve bow that fits the parameters listed in the combat rules. Do any other archers out there have a recommended model? Any help is greatly appreciated.

We hold in our hands the harvest of what we have sown in Hope. Do we sow for Good? or for Evil?

My preferred types of recurve are the take-down recurve bows like
the ones listed here.

I too really like the "Take Down" Bows. Much easier to travel with on a train
However They are not "Period looking"
I have a traditional long bow as well as a Hungarian Horsebow that I use IG

What some folks do is use decorated bow socks or some sort of cover for their take down bows.
