Hey everybody! I'm thinking of playing a Bard character for in-game and I was just wondering...what would be a good instrument that could be used??? Thanks!

As a music teacher and a music historian.... these would your best options:
- Fiddle or Violin-like substitute (only problem here would be the elements)
- a simple recorder
- a guitar or mandolin (providing you can play them)
...but the easiest and most portable instrument of them all would of course be your own voice
I hope this helps.

More music means more merry! Welcome!
As a simple troubadour myself, I prefer the guitar. But that's mainly because I don't play much else. And I would never dream of bringing my baby anywhere near combat. So song is probably the easiest, followed by a simple instrument that could possibly take a beating if you fall or are struck down.
Strive for the highest!

Wooden recorders or simple bamboo flutes or tinwhistles are pretty easy to come by, not terribly expensive, and easy to transport. Have your voice ready at all times though, if you have one you don't mind using.

*attacks roommate with a violin and guitar* CY MADE AND ACCOUNT!
If you ever want to deviate from your singing, my instruments are yours to borrow- hell, the will probably be packed in the back of the car with the rest of our stuff as we head off to a KR event someday.
*Big smile* Its going to be good to see you again Cy, or should I say Aidan?
