In all fairness, that's yesterday's newspaper.  I was just too lazy to post it yesterday.

The worst part about this is my mother went to my work and showed my boss, because they're friends.

The writer's bewilderment is obvious everywhere in this article. It's not easy to explain LARPing by any measure, but she did an exceptionally poor job of it. Though in her defense, I'm guessing that she probably wasn't given a very coherent explanation; the article does read like most gamers would tell it.

My favorite part is the way that she relates a bunch of the players using "normal" as a derogatory term.

No, wait. My favorite part is that she calls Emily an "aggressive boffer"...
