Why it's Emily Anthony, our very own aggressive "Boffer":

You know...the only thing worse then being a nerd is being a nerd on the front page of the Philadelphia Inquirer
P.S.
There's nothing about KR in the article
P.P.S.
This was in the Philadelphia Inquirer...the largest paper in Philly

Emily is much to cute to be a nerd. Will read the Inky over breakfast and then bust her, if required.

In all fairness, that's yesterday's newspaper. I was just too lazy to post it yesterday.

It isn't enough to talk about peace, one must believe it.
And it isn't enough to believe in it, one must work for it.

WAAAAAAHHHH
The worst part about this is my mother went to my work and showed my boss, because they're friends.

The writer's bewilderment is obvious everywhere in this article. It's not easy to explain LARPing by any measure, but she did an exceptionally poor job of it. Though in her defense, I'm guessing that she probably wasn't given a very coherent explanation; the article does read like most gamers would tell it.
My favorite part is the way that she relates a bunch of the players using "normal" as a derogatory term.
No, wait. My favorite part is that she calls Emily an "aggressive boffer"...
