Nerf Gun mods

Turns out there are a whole bunch of folks who play Nerf gun games and tourney's with "modded" nerf guns and other airsoft weapons.  These folks even go so far as to modify the gear to look IG and to have better range/power/accuracy.

I was looking over other forums and such and found these to be of interest.  So, if folks out there ever wanna try 1 of these, lemme know.  Sounds like fun and who knows what we can learn from these mods.  Maybe a new way to make boffer weapons and other stuff.

I for one, will be attempting to modify a nerf rifle to have that chainsaw bayonet feature and have my own GoW Lancer rifle.

Yeah for $125.00... 1 of the videos I found shows you how to make 1 for around $50.00.  Just have to be willing to do the work.

Can you post a link to any of these Sci Fi Larps? so that I may do some research on them?

The only time I modify the nerf guns is to make them look pretty. But of course we can still shot out of them. With the Star Wars costumes they're made more for the looks then use.

while most of them aren't nerf based you can still get a taste of how they remold, build and paint stuff to make 'guns'.

Sci-Fi style LARPs seem a lot more feasible with the nerf guns available these days.. go go F7 (go go volk!).
