OOG Gypsy Party Info

Hey guys!

This wouldn't be completely appropriate for the IG forum, so I'll post it here.

There's a lot that goes into organizing such a large event like this, and as far as food goes, I'd like to make sure that we get a good variety of foods available to everyone. I'm going to list what we'd like to see there, as far as food goes, and you can either post for it on here, like Charlie does for the event stuff, or send me a PM and I'll post it.

I'll be at the site on Friday early, around noonish, to help set up. If anyone can come early and help us set up, search for fire wood, decorate, let me know!

As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.

FOOD:

Main Course: Hot Dogs ----> Katie and/or Josh and the Yhatzi clan ALSO mystery covered dishes by Dan (Ming Na) and Chris Ayala

Salad or Veggie Tray: Pasta Salad: Amber  Veggie Tray: TV's Mike Smith

Fruit Salad, or something sweet and healthy: Sonya

Cheese and Bread: Ben (Dr. Maxwell)

Pretzels (those wheat twists are great IG!) or wheat thins/crackers: Nick

Desserts: Sonya, Charlie

Drinks (Soda or stuff non fizzy): Pete (sodas) and Liam (soda and or non fizzy)

Misc Condiments: (In IG containers please!) Noah (?)

IG looking containers (Big, small, plates, bowls, etc! I'd rather not have to borrow from the kitchen   ): I believe I can take care of that, but if someone else would like to bring baskets, or something to cover up the food, please, let me know!

Just as a helpful hint for IG looking bowls and plates that you can get in larger quantities and aren't as expensive as say real metal or wooden ones, check out ones made of disposable bamboo (Bambu I think the company name is).  You can get them for a decent price and they work really well for larping and feeding a group you want to keep IG while avoiding paper plates.

Tom, thanks for the offer, but we're going old school with the hot dogs. Putting them on sticks and roasting them that way.
