Too many answers to that question for me. For pure longevity for me in the video gaming world, two series immediately come to mind: Dragon Quest (AKA Dragon Warrior here in the States through the late 80's and the 90's) and Wing Commander. Whenever I'm bored, and truly in search of something to do, I'll often pop in one of the games of those two series, and lose myself for a while.
If in those two series, you ask me which are my favorite games...
Well, for Wing Commander, it's Wing Commander: Privateer, hands down. Great game, great system, harkening back to a pre-Wing Commander favorite of mine, 'Elite'
In the Dragon Quest series, with all things being equal (and really the series has never changed in style, or gameplay, it's what makes it so endearing and enduring for me) I have to go with the 1986 original, simply because it was the impetus for my interest in roleplaying. Without it, I wouldn't be a part of Knight Realms, and you all wouldn't be tortured with my presence every month.

I like a bunch of games, and for some reason the one that pops into my mind is Advance Wars (and the sequels). Really fun game, and I don't even really like turn-based RPG's. The only other turn based RPG I like is Disgaea. Anyone who plays video games consistently should definitely try out these two.
