Agreed...this is truly a sad day. You cannot make a Top-10 defining movies of the 80's list without including at least 1 or even more of his films. Few people were more influential to the HS genre than he was. Breakfast Club, Ferris Buhler's Day Off, Sixteen Candles, and Home Alone are all classics and that I believe everyone should see in their life at least once. He will be missed
