In many ways, Conklin is like your first boffer sword you made yourself. It's awesome, it's your first one, your beginning memories of LARPing are tied to it... and eventually you replace it with something better. Then a latex one comes along. If Conklin is that first boffer, Hickory Run is an Iron Liege Glow-Wire latex weapon.

Seeing pictures of Adam M. and Patty O. brought back memories for me. Mostly from the Nexus, and Adam as a large dragon, being scared of a bird somewhere in the neighborhood of four magnatudes of order smaller than him.
