Hurricane Sandy!! everyone ok?

I got really lucky here in the northern part of New jersey. I was the only one on my street who didnt lose power.

Bat Cooper is doing fine. He lost power but is on his way over here. My family lost power last night but its back up and running. Our biggest loss is that we're out of cheep wine and tonight we have to drink the good stuff!

Things are looking fairly good in my part of Brooklyn, but some of my friends are scared to go back home. They don't know if their houses are even standing. Fires have broken out in the most devastated areas and some neighborhoods like like war zones. I was visiting home for the weekend, but now I can't get back to school until next week (I only have 2 classes on thurs, so that's not bad!)

I'm so glad to hear that everyone is doing all right!

I got pretty lucky. Trees were falling down everywhere! I'm one of the only people that still has power left!

My apartment is fine, & my relatives are OK. Good news is I have waterfront property when I didn't before. :cool: It's a mish-mash for Brooklyn. Some parts are OK, but anything by the water (Coney Island, Red Hook, DUMBO) looks like its a part of a set from the movie Water World.

I had some power loss for a while, but it came back. I was most worried about sewage, but the water lines here are fine.

My power went our no to soon after I posted this I'm at my parents friends house cuz they have power. My street was torn to shreds if I can I'll post pics of the damage! I wanted to know if the event is still going on! I really hope so cuz I gotta get away from this! We have a generator but we don't have a lot of gas so I don't know how long we will last! I'm glad to hear everyone is ok! I don't have school till next week now Lol so that's awesome.
