So I was planning on making myself a pair of boffer brawlers for the Alt Event.
However, buying materials for just one pair of weapons looks to be a bit excessive, and seems like it'll come out as being relatively expensive. In order to make things a bit more cost-effective, I thought I'd go ahead and make a whole bunch.
To that end: does anyone need some simple boffers for brawling/improvised weapon/claws/whatever? I can't guarantee that they'll be made by next weekend, but they'll certainly be ready at the next main event.
Also, is there a standard rate of SP for claw donations? If so, what is it?
Cheers

There is a rate of money conversion to SP in the rulebook.
$1 = 20 SP
$20 = 400 SP
$50 = 1000 SP
$100 = 2000 SP
Generally for crafted things such as boffers there is a slight increase since you had to have time to make them. I don't know for sure how much that would be....

Service points are earned through two quantitative means - Time and Money. Taken from the rulebook, the conversions are below. If you are donating something that had both a material cost and requires actual time, you add the two amounts together to arrive at your total earned SP for that item. So, if hypothetically a set of claws costs $10 Dollars (200 SP) and it took 1 Hour to make (100 SP), that set of claws will get you 300 SP total.
That being said, Logistics is incredibly low on claws. If the pairs are sturdy, safe, and well-constructed, a bonus could be given on top of this due to necessity. I'm sure it would be much appreciated.
Time
1 Hour = 100 SP
5 Hours = 500 SP
10 Hours = 1000 SP
25 Hours = 2500 SP
Money
$1 = 20 SP
$20 = 400 SP
$50 = 1000 SP
$100 = 2000 SP

Player of the Month
Jeff McLean & Adam B.
This was a difficult decision for October, as many people jumped in to help out and with so many great people, it was easy to see why the event was awesome. The award will be split this month and goes to Jeff Mclean and Adam B. Jeff was supposed to PC this month and help out a little with setting up main mod. Instead the reverse happened, so we’d like to thank him for helping out with so many different details, from bringing wood for the scarecrows, to setting up and setting off the smoke, flashes etc. Adam was always where Andy needed him to be and was a huge help at running the event and making sure that everything ran as smoothly and as close to schedule as possible. Honorable mentions to Doug Evans for helping Andy run the event and Frank Martinez for helping out with a large group of new players. Thanks guys!Jeff McLean & Adam B.
