Since your friend is looking for a barbarian, I'd recommend '
that sword
' It's the cheapest of the three and because of its simplicity, the sword would look appropriate for any type of 2HE fighter.
However, if your brother's character is the type of guy who enjoy having fancy runes on his killin' stick, I'd recommend Sword #2. It's pretty long, but it's not over 5'.
Sword #1 looks a bit elegant, which might not be what your brother is hoping for, but if he likes the design, I'd go for it. Since the sword is fairly close to the regulation length, I'm not sure how RMs would react, so you'd have to ask one.
As far as combat capabilities go, Conor has already stated that all three of a high quality, so you should be fine in that regard.

I feel good and comfortable with the Forgotten Dreams ones, then, thank you Conor.
But, "That Sword" is closer to our price range (and Jensen's aesthetic preferences), and it is from Iron Fortress. It's also a bit more neutral if he decides to change races later on. Has anyone had any problems with Iron Fortress weapons in the past, or are they a sound manufacturer?

They're pretty sound, just like all latex weapons, watch the tip. Get some silicone spray to if you can and take care of it

I use "That Sword" and I really like it! I've had it for a couple years now and it's been solid

That sword is pretty good.
I'd say try to find the manufacturer who made my present one but that's actually impossible because nobody knows who initially built it, and I had Sediq rebuild it for me over the winter after over a decade of play in various player's hands.

Also I highly recommend AGAINST the medieval Claymore.
It whips something fierce.
