1212 Travance Chess Championship was created by geezer (geezer)

The 1212 Travance Chess Championship will be held during the period of 9 March to 22 April. The winner of the tournament will be invited to participate in the 1212 Kromyrian Chess Championship. There is no entry fee and a purse of 25 gold pieces will be paid to the winner.

I will participate, but if I win I will not claim the spot as I have decided not to defend my title. Those interested in participating should contact me either by adding your name to this post or via Messenger Service.

At the pleasure of the players. Each player shall play two games against others, one as white, and one as black. Clocks (the only positive thing to effect chess from the Gnones) may be employed to shorten the game.

NPC of the Month goes to Maria Macarrie, for her Chaos Warrior on Saturday morning. She led 3 other NPCs as 1st level CWs, and had 2 or 3 encounters with PCs in the Kaladonia cabin area. Everyone who ran into them commented on her RP, and the NPCs who were with her were talking about how much fun the encounter was, even though they totally sucked, because of her leadership and RP. So we have here a great example of how RPing your best even on little roles can make the game more memorable.
