If you wish a walk to the Baronial dungeon, I'd be happy to accompany you; it is part of my duty as Court Chancellor to Alisandria to address any concerns a Captain of the Guard might have. We are after all, both men of honor and service.
Before we take our walk though, let me add that before I wrote my note about personal missives I had already contacted Lady Elawyn- out of respect for her title and the friendship that I bear her- addressing all her questions and concerns, instead of, as you put it, "casting her to the masses."
As you noted, perhaps there were better ways for me to word my previous post, but I hope you can understand that I made the best with the time I had, however clumsily phrased, in order to serve and protect our people.
I would urge you to contact me privately, where I would best be able to address your inquiries, if you have your own questions or concerns.

I don't believe we've met, though I'm glad to hear you are enjoying my impromptu window- as you noted it is very pretty and offers such a nice view; perhaps next time I'll invest in a tapestry.
If you have time this coming moon, I would love to meet and share a bottle with you at the inn; my treat. I always enjoy the company of the nimble minded and those quick on the uptake.
