I am offering a bounty of 50 gold pieces to the person who brings in the individual that tortured and murdered Swyft. Any information leading to this individual being brought to justice will also be compensated accordingly. Thank you.

Get on it, Orion. I'm sure you'll get your villain.
One thing as a reminder to all the hunters. Don't forget that when you get someone you have to bring them to the guard with proof. No delivering the killing blow! And don't attack a suspect except in self defense or if they won't go in willingly.

Wotcher,
If I may: itemised here are a few facts that may be of use to you, gentlemen.
At what must have been close to the time of the incident, I observed Miss Dura having what appeared to be a fit of insanity, talking to the night air as if it was Miss Swyft herself. Perhaps most unusually, she made remarks pertaining to Miss Swyft's mortal condition, even before we had reached Drega'Mire to begin investigating. It would follow logically that Miss Dura would have to have been present at the scene of the murder to have such knowledge... however, by way of an alibi, I myself had observed her in the Dragon's Claw Inn moments earlier.
Whilst I don't think Miss Dura committed the crime (having no obvious motive to do so) the above is still rather perplexing. I'd recommend that Mister Orion talk to her as a part of his investigations, as doing so may lead to more useful information.
Here's hoping you are able to bring the perpetrator to swift justice. Which is funny, because "swift" sounds a bit like "Swyft," which is the name of the victim. It's sort of meant to be a little joke.

- The incident happened on the night of the feast, presumably around ten or eleven bells.
- Reports at the time of the incident place the perpetrator in the vicinity of Drega'Mire.
- The perpetrator was described by witnesses as a masked or hooded figure.
- It would seem that the perpetrator acted alone.

Goggs,
What you likely saw was the ability to see the dead that most healers and priests, such as myself, posess.
While it may appear to be a fit of insanity, I can assure you that it is not.
Signed,
Father Elric Ashby.
