Bring a Lantern

In recent months there have been reports of attacks at night. These reports speak of the torches on the roads being extinguished. In order to avoid more needless attacks, if you are straying out into the night bring a torch or lantern. Most guardsmen have a torch, and will walk you home at night if you ask.

In addition I have been known to sell scrolls which will allow those who read them the ability to create light to those adventurers willing to part with a small sum of coin or perhaps prefer not to bother guardsmen with every mundane task.
