Strange in the weather

I'm not really sure how to start this.

A woman came to my study the other day. She was vomiting letters- yes, actual handwritten letters with actual messages written on them. In between mouthfuls of the paper, she explained she worked as a bard in a local tavern named Dusk Dale. I suggested a doctor she could visit that might be able to help, though she mumbled something that sounded like "wrdbut" and shook her head. She left.

I...am...I don't know what to say.

At least the weather is nice.

Congratulations, you have probably witnessed one of the top five strangest things to ever occur in Travanse. Honestly, I think I might have just started people making a list of there strangest stories but I am not upset in the least.

Not even top 20.

Are not those of your profession chiefly concerned with extracting written confessions from the bowels of your clients? If so, perhaps this is proof of your mastery of the trade.

It's events such as these that give me second thoughts about dabbling in the medical profession. My stomach can handle strange things like this. I'm not sure if my mind can.

You would not, perchance, know this woman's whereabouts? Or still have some of these missives (assuming, of course, that they somehow managed to remain hygenic)?

This would most certainly be something of note to see and document.
