Chronicle for June -- all about Myth

The Travance Chronicle is seeking submissions for our next issue. The theme for June is Myth.

Everybody loves a good story. In the distant past, stories were written to explain a worldview of a people, or explain a practice, belief, or natural phenomenon. These stories were handed down through the ages. Over the years, the stories became a tradition, even if they are no longer considered strictly “true.” Perhaps there is a story in your culture that explains the changing seasons, the phases of the moon, or even the origin of your culture.

In addition to our usual solicitation for reports on the goings-on of Travance, poetry, and artwork, we'd like encourage you to write about myth. This theme is very flexible and we encourage varied interpretations of the subject. Almost everyone knows a good legend, and we would love to hear yours.

We will still consider other submissions that are not part of this theme. Compensation for work that we publish is 10 gold per work, and the Barony considers it additional service to the common good ((OOG: 400 SP per article, and build for consistent contributors)).
