Have we any jewelers, scholars or mages who may have experimented with such materials???

Recently I have come across a few roles of Kraken Hide that seems of good enough quality to craft armor out of.

I observed two reportedly new syntheses this month, Edmund. I'm also willing to share knowledge of other materials, though I don't think there's quite enough space here to cover them all.

Kracken Hide, for example, can be combined with other materials used for armor, such as Taramil. It still can't be put together with mithril, but if we ever ran across a comparable creature from another elemental plane, I'm sure the results would be nothing short of amazing.

This last feast it was found that we pioneer occultists were able to transmute lesser metals into Elemantium. It might be possible to do so with some of these other metals mentioned.
