[The paper is expensive looking. The ink is pink and sparkly.]
Hi! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Fiona Hesperus, not the peach of goodness. You may recognize me from the pink and purple horns.
The most infuriating thing about trying to find anything about Wendigo last feast was that literally no one knew anything about them. No one had any idea where they came from, why they happen, how to tell if someone was turning, nothing. Now, I am a scholar, but I am definitely a physician first, and I am moving forward with this acting as if it is a disease.
Which is why I need all of your helps.
Either in a private missive or tacking a response to the end of this one, tell me everything you know about Wendigo and Skinwalkers. I don't care if all that is is, "one's cold and the other smells of cabbage", tell me about it. If there is anything you think might be remotely connected, let me know. I don't care if you write me three pages of tangents upon tangents, i want to leave no stone unturned, and will take all of the information you all give me and cross reference it with everyone else's to see if I can start a true academic paper going.
I want to know everything there is to know, so that Wendigo are no longer a blank spot in our knowledge, so their very mystery drives the fear of them. Knowledge is power, and I refuse to let our descendants be unprepared.
Thanks!

Fiona,
The wendigos were described in length in the Chronicle this month. If you can find a copy of that you can learn all about them. I will send you a copy if you wish.

And I realize that, but as I want to learn more about them than that they're cold and eat a lot, that doesn't help me as much as it could. Thank you, though!

Fiona,
I can research the topic if you like. I am a decent scholar and if you provide me a list of questions I will strive to find the answers.

I, too, am a scholar, which is why I'm working on this. When I head out to the North when I get this barn running, you can come with me, if you like.
