WANTED-SETH

As a representative of the Guild of the Ebon Hound, I extend our services in any way the Barony should require in order to apprehend Seth alive.

Actually, if Albatross were to be charged with anything, it should rightfully be sedition, not treason.
But then again, in Travance anything and everything is treason.

Wait, did I get charged with something again? Darn. I gotta stop doing that.

As Moostrav said, there are different issues being discussed here at the same time. The presence of unrest is substantial and justified. The cause needs to be addressed. However, this is not the hill to fight that battle on. Seth is not wrongfully accused. He earned that wanted poster. Many of you have come to know me. You know what I do for a living, and that my hands have not always been clean. Some of you also know I have not been shy about pointing out the problems that I see around me.

So I say this, to be completely honest, not out of deference to the law or the powers that be, but because lives are at stake. The threat Eden poses is dire. Beyond dire. I cannot think of something worse than helping her. Suggesting Seth is just the next person in a line of people who have been unjustly charged or treated too harshly downplays the severity of what he has done. That puts us all at risk should anyone else think to follow his path.

I don't know how to feel about this situation. Seth has come to my aid in the past, and we have always been friendly. But I know what he's done, the extreme danger we were already in, and the fact that his actions may directly increase the number of lives lost when it comes time to face Eden. I also think there's a good chance she may kill him herself, or worse. Someone bringing him in alive may be his best chance. I want to see him safely away from Eden, and to understand why he chose the road that he did.

I am often unable to send messages to this board due to being at sea, but if you are not very familiar with the homunculi and the Perfect called Eden and want to know more, send me a missive or find me in the proper next feast.

I know little of Seth, but I have reason to believe that he will do whatever it takes to attain his goal. As I understand it, so will Eden.
It's important to remember how clever Eden is with her words. She makes very tempting promises. A desperate man is hard pressed to turn away such opportunity and she knows it.


I don't understand all of this "treason" talk. Folks make it sound like we have a beheading every week.

There is certainly the the threat of it every week at the very least, Squire Silverfang. And a head did roll for such charges not two weeks ago.

I for one am very much refreshed that the mortal court has finally found a count and culprit worth punishing so severely.
Though... I do question the change in demeanor; more serious threats have been made over less serious actions, with far less evidence very recently.

I hope that he is brought to justice painlessly, and his motives extracted likewise, though I am certain neither will be the case.
