Declaration of Secession

On this day, the Twenty-fifth of April in the year MCXXIX, I, General Dargrazz
Banetusk, Warboss of the Bloodhowl Legion, sever allegiance with the High Priest
Varkan Rez’Sevvok. I declare war upon his regime and call for his blood upon my
blades. The Empire will crumble under the heel of the Bloodhowl.

High Priest Rez’Sevvok has led this great empire into its destruction. He has
sacrificed our soldiers to fight in a war to the south in the filthy lands of
Kormyre. The High Priest has abandoned our people in favor of stealing the
human lands to the east while we are slaughtered. He has twisted our orc
brothers and sisters to vile abominations years ago when the demon wars ripped
through the world. Now we are the fodder for a war between the humans who
are too weak willed to decide upon a leader.
I demand there be no more of this. The High Priests reign is over.

We have learned that the human, Duke Balliol, serves a shadow beast called
Val’Ixtal Vai. This demon has been slaughtering our people for its own increasing
power. The High Priest had sent General Hogtooth and his forces directly into the
beast’s grips to be slain for his question of dissent. The High Priest has betrayed
Gaaldron and works with this demon. Varkan is a traitor to his people and must
pay for his crimes.

Soldiers from Hogtooth’s Legion had confronted the Priest about this claim and
his words will forever ring with rage in my heart
“They are bricks that lay the groundwork for our empire. Those corpses should
feel honored to be trampled on by those greater than them.”
