I am sure by now most of you have heard the rumors of a body found. While we do not know the killer, rest assured that the safety of all citizens is a top priority. With Ser Tristram's permission, I will be forming a nightly patrol. If you are capable and wish to assist, contact me for more details.

In addition, if you are a citizen who is concerned about traveling alone at night, please send me a missive and I will do my best to arrange an escort for you.

You will be forming NO such Patrol, as my men, and those joining the guard under the drive sanctioned by YOUR KNIGHT, will continue our DAY AND NIGHTLY patrol around our lovely town.

I am appalled a Squire of such a good and loyal Knight would dare stoop to such idiocracy. You forget your station and I will see to it you are punished for your insubordinance!

If you truly are concerned for the town MY guard patrols, then you come to ME.

Our town is SAFE, and my men will catch this murderer without your vigilantism!

If I am not mistaken, the Empire's laws have placed Ser Tristram in command of all aspects of securing our lovely town. It is only the laws of the usurper Kingdom that you attempt to claim any authority. House Liones, its affiliates, and any guards Ser Tristram has recruited, therefore, have full authorization to carry out protective measures for the safety of citizens.

Why yes, former Captain, I did agree to my squire to setting up this patrol. A dutiful approach to lessons in such knightly duties, don't you agree?
I applaud her diligence in proactive action to protect the citizens. I certainly look forward to seeing her results.

While I do appreciate and understand your concern, Captain Bertram, I did make sure to take the necessary steps. As stated in my original call and confirmed by Ser Tristram, I do have my Knight's permission for such a task.

To those reading, I am still looking for able-bodied people. No one who wishes to help will be turned away. Recent developments have only solidified my desire to help protect the citizens, and I hope I do not have to do this alone. We are stronger united.
