The Impending Attack: A Call For Arms

In light of the recent attacks, and the information brought to us by Lord Chancellor Enzarond, It is clear that an insurgent group intends to attack the village of Grimwry, with the goal of killing Duke Balliol during his visit. There may be those amongst you with doubts about the Empire, but the Duke is currently the one thing standing between us, and being over run by forces loyal to a man who seized the throne, and lied to all of us about it for years. He ruled in secret posing as the King, and only came about it because he had been caught in the act. He then gave right to his chosen forces to declare a new King, ignoring the traditions and laws of the Kingdom.

Whether you agree or disagree, are a loyal citizen, or ally of the Empire, are a follower of Valos, Enax, or another deity, our enemy is unlikely to discriminate based on political or philosophical leanings. An attack is coming, it will be before midnight. The military of Kormyre, under the leadership of House Liones will be organizing a defense, and we request that all able bodied citizens knowledgable in combat join us in this endeavor. I assume our allies from Gaaldron will be joining us under the command of their general, and we welcome their support.
