Awards for August, 2013

  • Jason Propelsky as Herrister Reynolds

Jason plays Herrister as a very convincing lawyer character that just keeps you wondering what he is really doing. Tie in that he is playing him more combat subdued and who has spent time as a rowdy swashbuckler in Coast Haven. His approach to each situation follows a clear path. Befriend and talk, warn away, and if all else fails, kill. He has really provided not only depth to his character but opportunities for others to improve theirs. Keep it up Jason!

Honarable Mention goes to Finnegan played by Lane Miller. From costuming to demeanor, he is a top notch Halfling and we all expect to see him up for awards again soon!

  • Ben Theis as Bishop Delven and Sean K. as The Shadow King

    Ben Theis as Bishop Delven:
He really did a fantastic job playing a dwarf priest. The costuming was well done and many a player was left to wonder who was underneath that beard. Everyone was floored by his monologue during feast. Not a pause nor a stutter. Inflection was great and he ran the gauntlet of the light gods. I would have thought Ben had this memorized it was so well-delivered.

    Skimmel as The Shadow King:
Not only was he a terrifying sight to behold at the main battle, but coupled with the dedication to drive to the event and play the part after working an extra-long shift at work gets our vote and thanks…looking like a Ringwraith doesn’t hurt either ;) !

  • Justin Torres and Renny Stern

Justin Torres ran all around the camp twice to help the Monster Marshal on duty set up a mod in addition to playing the hook for it. He was also helpful when someone took a fall and injured himself. Justin got the player to the Mage's Guild and helped administer first aid. He went well above and beyond his duties for NPC shift.

Renny Stern continues to impress us with how much he is willing to do to help out. He throws himself into any role he is given and his interactions with players, new and old alike, are welcoming and encouraging. Thank you for all that you do!

  • The Purple Thistle Trading Company and Friends

Market Faire merchant’s table by Joe Hines and crew looked perfect! It had alchemy with smoking liquids, racks of jewelry, pouches, clothes, sundry knick-knacks, and even item cards arrayed neatly on the table. The table was warm, neat, inviting, and they went out of their way to keep it that way. Great job guys!
