Awards for December, 2011

  • Lord Antrim Ardentfyre

Lord Ardentfyre was paramount this month. From organizing the town, giving inspirational speeches, being involved in heavy combat and doing such a great job with his paladin RP that it could have resulted in his death. Jon really stood out this month. A nod goes out to Ryan Welsher as Archer van Zandt. He impressed the marshals this month and we are sure to hear about him again soon.

  • Aaron B. as the Hobgoblin General

Everyone in the Imperious Legion command group did an awesome job. However, Aaron's (Wally) hobgoblin general really stood out. Even when no PCs were on the field, Wally was there, keeping the NPCs engaged with drills and commands. He was convincing and had many in sheer terror at his role-playing. Awesome job!

  • Kelly O. and Andy B.

Kelly & Andy were the biggest helpers to the weekend's storytellers. They were always there when needed, playing multiple roles and marshaling at the drop of a hat. Thanks guys! Honorable mention goes to Joe Bondi and to everyone who donated to the collection for Ron. It was heartwarming to see people donate to our regular charity and to honor Ron, someone who really deserves our thanks.

  • Lucas' Room (Chris G. & Company)

There were tapestries everywhere and decorations that were really nice. They put a lot of effort into it and it stayed clean and neat the whole event. Many helped decorate that room; unfortunately this writer does not know all the names. Great job all and please keep up the efforts!

    • The Church Annex and the Pirate Ship

This month was a hard debate between these two locations. The church annex, while a constant sight at the game now, was in top shape, really inviting the idea of a more laid back place of worship for the light. It has only added to the atmosphere of the game since it appeared and we hope to see it improve even more in the future.

The pirate ship was no small task to build and really came up as the talk of the town when enocuntered. From the flying "cannon fire" to the thin plank to get aboard, this ship really help sell the scene in the greatest way. Excellent job to the team that built this, we salute your efforts!
