Awards for June, 2012

  • Augustus

Justin who plays Augustus Waters. He's only been coming since this year's Dreamation, but he's already becoming well known in his own circles, oddly enough, and even with the witch hunters (despite not having the class). He's committed to staying IG and bringing downtime atmosphere to other new players through his gambling, and showing great character depth. He has since been asking around to some of the Witch Hunters and other warrior types about trying to find a path that suits him while still allowing him to contribute to defense of the town and help his friends, RPing the character's guilt all the way to the proverbial hilt. Great job Justin.

  • Mystery New Players

There were 3 new guys who NPCed much of the weekend (Dan "DB" Lupus, Tony Vassallo, and one unknown). It was their first event, yet still they exemplified what we feel the point of NPCing is; entertaining PCs. They were sportsmanlike and entertaining, taking status effects and selling them like it was their day-job. Their reactions to PC skills made landing the strikes feel rewarding and worth the build one spent on break limb, or blindness. They even did a phenomenal job RPing taking base damage. Their energy persisted throughout the weekend bringing this experience to everyone who encountered them, and for that reason, we believe that these 3 New Players deserve the award. (Please post and let us know who the third person is!)

  • Sam Dio

Sam Dio gets our thanks for June. With the day camp going on, the amount of time to set up was significantly less than usual. This did not stop Sam from coordinating a group to set up the inn and logistics, reorganizing the makeup kit, mix and testing gallons of fake blood for Steve and Judge, and hauling tons of her own personal props, including the skeleton they burned, all over the site. All of this she completed between the time the day camp left at 5:00 and new player training at 9:00, which she also helped present. What an awesome job Sam, thank you again!

  • The Baronial Manor

From the forge outside, to the extra details to the interior, the Barons Manor truly looked like a stately home in Travance. Geoff really did a great job on what is usually a nice looking building and made it just that much better. Thanks!
