Goblins

Let's look at the situation this way:

Rothgar is a law-abiding visitor in Travance.  He would have no reason to hack up a goblin, unless he was acting in self defense.  Therefore I see no battle for sport between he and that goblin.  Sorry to disappoint Charlie and other would be wagerers.  My response to the increased goblin presence was simply the writer's opinion on how his character would have felt "overwhelmed" by the large numbers of goblins in one sitting.  At no time was it inferred that I wished to engage in the extermination of that goblin or another or its kind.

That being said, why don't we all bring bacon anyway since the presence of bacon is never a bad thing, unless it was first touched by an actual goblin?

This thread will now hopefully be concluded.

Why doesn't someone start this conversation in game? I can't tell if this thread is a big joke or not, but if you guys are serious, you're talking about betting OOG money on an IG event. I am ultimately confused by this.

Bacon is legal tender as long as it's been cooked long enough at at least 350 degrees.

Use thick sliced fresh bacon, uncured
Preheat oven and cooking stone to 350 degrees
Place bacon on Stone for at least 20 minutes

Tender Bacon... completely legal that way.

To verify IG, I suggest you try paying your taxes with it. After the chancellory fully investigates your case, we'll tell you whether it was or not. If you cook it precisely as Mike Smith describes, I suspect it might be. Especially if it happens to be wrapped around a rare filet mignon at the time. You cool with that Chris, Damien?
