Surprised no one has started this yet!
* Food. SO MUCH FOOD. And yet... it was mostly gone when I went back for round 2. Everything I had was amazing, thank you SO much to those who brought it.
* Cider! Last year, I brought 6 gallons, and took one back home. This year, we kicked 8 gallons in record time. Apparently it was popular...
* The Lake Motel. The reservation thing was a pain, since the previous manager bailed and screwed us all over, but the new manager was nice and having the hotel 2 minutes away was a blessing. Hopefully things will be more stable for next year.
* The Photographer. Thank you, Mr. Ober, for coming out and taking such AMAZING photos of us, and for us!
Good RP all around, and it was nice to see everyone in a festive environment - looking forward to next weekend!

Food was awesome. Performances were great. Costumes were impressive. Everything that was done was done to motivate and compel all the players to strive to outdo each other and become greater. Excellent.

First, the food was awesome. I like that there were many different dishes, because unlike feast the preparer does not have to please most tastes.
Lots of new people, including the winner of a good prize.
Superb costuming. Liam certainly deserved is win, but then, no one would have been shocked had the order of the prizes been different.
A full plate of RP, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Taking a nap in the Bar room, and overhearing things people would rather I not know.
A snappy comeback to Remy, so un-Charlie/Edwin.
A few personal achievements which will become clear next week.
Helping Chris with props, having a nice talk, then, as usual, ignoring him as Zahir once things start.
Taking some of the Lucky Bastard's gold.
Two and one half hours to get home, which was fine.

"Hey, Ming Na!"

"Ming?"
*figure turns around*
"Oops, sorry Blade."
Also, all the compliments Vince and I (especially him) got on our masks and his tabard . I worked hard on those dammit!
Lowlight/highlight: Driving back and forth past the entrance for 45 minutes, then getting run off by a republican with a shotgun. No, really.

Before Ball:
-My boyfriend's mother wishing nothing more then to do my hair and make-up. She's been stuck with all boys, so she enjoyed helping me get ready.
-Ride down with Jim and chatting it up (Thanks again for the ride ^^)
Ball:
-Mole Man. Attempts to eat Ilana's arm: 3. Not sure why a few people decided I should watch him, maybe they were expecting me to incinerate it or something...
-which, btw, harmful magic can be used at the keep? Well damn, I was misinformed.
-Ilana vs. Flay. Its funny as Flay tries to win over Ilana and he just progressively makes his chances more and more slim. However, this time around, he also succeeded in making Ilana like him less and less.
<3 Shawn though. I think he enjoys horrifying my character a bit too much however.
-I unfortunately didn't eat much of the food because I wasn't feeling well, what I did have though was great ^_^ Glad people liked the cookies! Thought they would tank since they were oddly so cold ><
-Learning how to dance from Paetros and then teaching other characters how to dance even though OOGly, they knew how to perfectly.
-Paetros and Ashling's plan to eradicate Evernight. Just... wow.
-zomg, illness kicked in full swing and I missed the end of the ball D: Thank you for the aspirin Jackie ^^ It helped a lot with the fever

considering we had one heck of a mis-adventure getting up there the ball totally made up for it!
first, i wanna thank danny for coming up and taking pictures. It was nice for us poorer folk to walk up to him and be able to have pictures taken thanks a bunch danny!
-catching up with some old friends and getting to chat with some people in game that i've never gotten a chance to talk to before like Mai Fong (im sure i butchered that spelling)
-seeing everyone get a look on their face like "I'm soooo not touching that one!" when i was announced as Pracika Autumnsong and not Nightwing tee hee
-the food = amazing as usual!
-dancing was hilariously fun! making the comment about how i was more winded from dancing than running from the beholder lol
-getting sooo many compliments on the masks I made and the few pieces of costuming I put together for people.
- witnessing a conversation from afar between Malyx Weavewarder and Rubious about chocolate and love pixies... many LOLZ
-another conversation between a dryad and Remi about how all the people in travance only have one thing on their brains *cough cough*
Remi: "but don't you guys have that *shlllppp sound effect*?
Dryad: Yes, well if you've *shhhlllpppd* one, you've *shhhhlllpppd* them all!
-weather was quite warm this year.
-being so happy the history questions went off with such a good response
-being asked to be courted by the long time childhood sweetheart
-getting to hear a beautiful song about Gaia from a nervous bard (you did GREAT btw!)
-being completely stoked and shocked when my boyfriend won the latex weapon raffle thingy!
low lights
-allll the crazy drama getting UP there... all lanes closed on 287 trying to take a detour and having the roads closed and sooo many bathroom stops! not to mention the fog and the rain!
-hoping sooo bad someone would ask me about the whole taking my maiden name back and having no one even want to touch the subject! lol but it couldn't be helped! i don't blame them.
everything was soooo awesome though! i had so much more fun this year than last! i hope they just keep getting better!

Highlights:
Low Points:
- So much delicious vegetarian friendly food.
- Everyone being so receptive to a new player I brought, who came as one of Paetros's wives.
- Getting to see the look on my dates face when one of my wives showed up.
- Dancing. I enjoy many forms of ballroom dances and being able to RP my 'entertainers' profession was great.
- Discovering how to destroy our enemies... by 'makin tha love'.
- So many talented people singing and performing.
- Drinking at the M tel, and waking up without someone having harvested my kidneys.
- Getting to know the people behind the characters.
Low Points:
- Weather. Ballroom shoes do not react well to mud. Neither does a feathery mask.
- Creepiest. M tel. Ever. I own a zombie apocalypse larp and I got pointers on how to make things a bit more scary.
- Not being able to make next weekend. See you all in December however!

Highlights
- The food, as most everyone has already mentioned. Such a wide and varied selection made for a most delicious evening. As some one always interested in trying new dishes, I had plenty to tempt me throughout the evening.
- The costuming was amazing. The variety and quality of every costume I saw made the event that much more enjoyable.
- Meeting old friends and making new ones.
- Receiving a most treasured item that will certainly make my future games much more interesting.
- Not having to drive six hours home directly after game.
- Not losing any money at the Lucky Bastard (I came out even).
Lowlights
- I cannot think of a single one.
I look forward to seeing everyone soon, and I would like to extend my deepest thanks to all who helped make this event a memorable one. Well done.

Highlights:
Great food and great costumes all around
Attempting to prove that the clan had "civilization hiddlins"
Receiving compliments on the mask Ashling made me (best part was that I could wear my glasses comfortably with it).
Being part of some Clan McSweeny antics with Hamish.
Getting to sing "Old Lord Pyre" alongside Billiam and Hamish in the talent contest and watching the crowd sing along with us.
Getting to see everyone else in the talent contest, you guys were all great. (I've had "Roll Your Leg Over" stuck in my head ever since then).
Floating and socializing where I could, plenty of fun RP to be had.
Getting a better grasp of where I want to take my character.
Lowlights
Missing most of the poetry and storytelling contest.
Staying at the sketchy Capri Mtel.
Being a bit tuckered and not hanging out enough after the ball.

Some things I forgot to post in my last comments...
1. Soup soup.
2. Friggin giant rat (and the dry-cleaning bill he caused on my fancy shirt). >
3. I have new respect for walking/standing in heels/boots on hard floors.
4. Jackie is a super-hero in her mask.
5. Sobriety checkpoint, super heavy fog, and GPS giving weird directions made for a long commute home.
I had a blast and discovered I need to socialize more with non-human races and get overmy my character's xenophobia.

This was my first ball and wow, what an event! It's a nice break from the usual event. Any who, on to Highlights.
- The hall itself was great. It really help set the atmosphere.
- For the cooks who fed us, we continue to feed your ego. Everything was fantastic.
- The entertainment stood superb, to the point where anything we celts did merely highlighted how good everyone else was.
- Carrying the trend of a little miscommunication and misunderstanding leading to a whole mess of antics. To whom it may concern, this is far from over.
- Meeting more people, always fun.
Lowlight- The drive wasn't all that wonderful, but wasn't too bad.
Till next time, Thats All Folks!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy. Let's see here...
1) All of the contests were lots of fun. Thank you Celts for singing Old Lord Pyre... probably my favorite song in existence
2) FOOD! of course.
3) Lots of great Remi moments, including
Apollo: (of superbacon) When I put that meat in my mouth, I am flooded with joy that I simply can't contain.
Remi: .... that's what she said?
4) Realizing that Remi's naivety is going to make her story incredibly interesting.
5) Getting presents from Sorrel. Watch carefully- I doubt you'll ever see Remi without them ever again.
6) Having no less than 15 people tell either myself or Paige that they thought we should've placed in the talent contest. Thank you so much for the compliments! Your enjoyment makes it entirely worthwhile for Remi to embarrass herself (and others) as often as possible <3
Finally, definitely the best highlight of the Ball by far...
I brought four new players to this event. Every single one of them told me that they'd had a better time than they could have ever imagined, that they were incredibly impressed by the standards of costuming and roleplay they encountered, and that they couldn't wait to come to a full weekend event. I really can't express to you how much I love bringing new people to this game, and having them enjoy it just as much as I do. Every last one of you deserves a hug! ;D

Highlights -
Learning more about Kwildar. 06/20/1285. Nice. Aleister for the win on Kwildar and talking about time.
Kwildar finding out that he's 'Fun to corrupt'.... Whoa boy.
Singing badly, while Kwildar was nervous and drunk. I CAN sing better... But well, Kwildar was nervous and drunk.
"The Night That Magnus Zero Died." Kwildar's never been so happy, and so sad, from just one song.
All the compliments on Kwildar's costume, and how much he couldn't figure out why.
Cautions and Warnings.
Lowlights -
Odd ways of getting there.
Panic in trying to find a way home.
