March 2010 Highlights

i dunno about that. i use a polearm and didn't get touched once on any mod 

Pfft... Dagger is the way to go.  You run into a shield wall with a dagger and no armor,  you'd be surprised how often they scatter

I did pretty well for myself with only a dagger and leather bracers 

You know first we made the bizaro magnus jokes, then we found out we were gonna be fighting bizaro versions of towns members... a tad awkward for magnus

so did any one spot bizaro-bizaro-magnus?

I should be going to class, but instead, I'm addicted to this thread. What an awesome event!

Briefly, and to be expanded upon later:
Friday:
+the black keep/reaching room was fun and close by
-my left hand is still bruised from the damn chronicler mod, which was, however, super fun
+s'mores!
+Alistair healing me of plague twice in a row, hiding behind him and Solomon with Ilona

Saturday:
+yeti mod (I'm Legolas?)
+main mod and cyric turning and telling me I was an awesome shot
+song time before main mod
-waiting for everything!
-getting plague again finally when I went to go find Collin for the celts that showed up
+Slugger Thompson's second chance (x3)

Sunday:
+relaxing/being lazy
+cake

ill make this a short one
first highlight: playing the "ooze!" at main mod. sorry to all the PCs who lost there weapons to me, at least you got them back
next was the Sunday mod, even tho we did not get the guys heart back, it was the best combat I had all weekend. good job to everyone involved.
and last but not least: learning dodge from Lethias. don't worry guys my glasses got fixed.

FRIDAY:
-Being hit with the plague within the first hour, then being healed by Aleister (but then being hit again on Saturday, go me. )
-Seeing everyone again is always a plus
-OOG awesomeness before lay on, and getting all of the silliness out before going into character
-Getting a beautiful necklace from Clark
-Getting my first Parasol from Dan
-Finally getting to get back into character, it seemed like forever. She seemed more laid back this time
- Speaking with Baoyu about more Khitanese stuff

SATURDAY:
-Being woken up by Misaki with "Kamei, teach me, teach." (To which he received a glare)
-Getting to go on Khitan plot and fight Onii for the first time
-Watching the plagued throw themselves into the fire
- Seeing Sorel holding one back from jumping into the fire yelling, "MAUL HER!! MAUL HER! SOMEBODY MAUL HER!". I couldn't help but laugh.
-Watching Dan play "Boris the Londwynian Miner", It would've been just as funny if it wasn't ass o'clock.

-Getting to have fun with the Celts, it's always a good time

-Getting to sleep in an actual bed!!

-But before that! Kamei walked out onto the porch, after maybe an hour into stage two, and walks up the Maxwell, who was talking to a group::
"Sensei, after you finish speaking, could you take a look at me?"
"Oh, god dammit"
It was funny. He cured me, and pushed the condition back to stage one, and told me he cured it with his rage, lmao.
-FEAST WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!
-We were told by Father Edwin that if we coughed in his direction during feast, he would take it as a threat and try to attack us. It was tempting not to test him (felt that urge in the oog part of my mind of course )

NPC Shift::
-Best shift ever. Got to play a Rat with multiple rezzes to entertain the groups of people being led by Magnus, Misaki and Colin. So much fun!! Hope you PC's for low level mod had lots of fun!
-Watching the oozes literally roll down the hill and towards the large group before standing up and fighting. I had to contain my laughter.
-Slipping and falling on my butt in the snow in front of everyone while running to the maze. I never knew one could slip and fall on snow....

SUNDAY:
-Celt Snowball fight!!!!! Nuff said. (Poor Hamish with snow to the face...hehe)
-Getting snow down the back of my kimono x_x
-Wearing my new corset under my kimono
-Learning Monster Lore: True Warlock. They're really interesting...
-Not having to worry about a lot of stuff this event, yay for packing light!
-Getting to relax and hang out with everyone in game, even though Kamei is kind of uptight, even she felt relief after being cured of that plague

Lowlight:
-Sleeping in Shanty Town on the floor near the photographer Friday night into Saturday. IT WAS COLD!!!!! I woke Bill/Tsoli up with my shivering and I had to be half a foot away from him.
