March 2010 Highlights

He did that to me too. It's like he's protective of her or something.

I had tons of fun this event!

Highlights:
-Coming early and watching my friends lose in chess in like 5 turns by Charlie
-Seeing old faces.
-NPCing for the new player mod and getting ambushed by like more than ten of them at once.
-NPCing as a 3rd stage plague villager/zombie the whole time. Hooray for starting the spread of the plague! 
-Meeting some new, fun people.
-Moss Mod was pretty entertaining. didn't do that much, but i didn't make anything worse.
-It's the g-g-g-g-gromobulous! that was fun (mainly because nobody needed to anything really)
-Help serve for feast. talking about random crap in the kitchen was interesting.
-Being in Colin's front line of the main mod (even though i was a low level). 
-Starting the main mod with 13 body and ending with 1 body! WIN! Thank you shield! 
-Learning stuff from Colin.
-Doing really well when i sparred against Colin and Cyric. (even though they probably were going easy on me) 
-Being fairly warm throughout most of the event!!

Lowlights:
-Getting my foot soaked the first night at the beginning of my NPC shift and having that foot be frozen for the next couple hours.
-Falling asleep early every night my cursed will to be tired!!!
-My shield's paint chipping, again. and a lot of paint coming off on my hand.

Ah yes.  There I was, about 6 PM (before lay-on) sitting in the Inn with a few second/third timers and three or four newbs, one of whom was Leon.  He was playing a game of chess and winning. Our brief, but infinitely entertaining conversation follows:

Me:  Are you aware that there are a few who will play for IG coin?

Leon:  I will so totally own them!

Me:  Do you believe in full disclosure?

Modification - he did not lose in 5 turns, but had a lost position.  The execution took another 25 or so.
