So much happened this weekend, from which I have still not recovered. I am sure I will miss things but some notable highlights for me were:
~ NPCing the Morgana mod with Jason and Ree. Good talks, good company, good effort pestering all the PCs with just us 3. Bolton thinking we were tree trunks was funny, was going to grab his leg had he not used windwalker to go past us.
~ Logistics massages. Hope I helped get rid of some real pains.
~ A terribly difficult choice made by a close friend. Wanting to be supportive and fix things. Holding onto Jade as people ripped into her. Croi, Elawyn; scary when yelling. Jade, Angeliana understood, she will find a way to see you through this somehow.
~ Trying to tell Croi Angeliana's account of events past and getting interrupted a million times.
~ Personal plot. A special Thank you to Luis (you are cunning and devious and evil and I love to hate you still) and Larry (who wasn't even there but was on the phone to answer questions and give information) Both of your attention to detail and creativity is awesome and I had a blast RPing all of it. Also thank you to everyone who got involved, you all know who you are.
~ Interesting lessons, interesting methods, interesting results...
~ Finding Aemorniel, her collapsing into my arms, Misaki out of nowhere, consoling her and promising to heal her face.
~ Tari's surgery/ritual. I didn't think Angeliana would play the role she did, but she had to. I'm not giving up on you!
~ Main Mod Chaos; so many broken limbs, such efficient use of empathy and directing other healers made me proud of my PC, saving Angelica with 18 seconds left in crit after arguing stubbornly to get to her, thanks rogues. People stopping me from acting carelessly due to worry/pain and overwhelming emotions, thank you as well.
~ More massages given then Hookah! Thanks Chase.
~ Going with Albert to follow a ghost. James's answer to all questions and lores: "I'm a ghost!" Angeliana should not have gone, but despite all the havoc, I'm glad I came and insisted we do not leave without everyone. Dr. Maxwell calling me a liability and sending me straight into an ambush was pretty priceless as well.
~ Being summoned to the inn as soon as I woke up, to deal with a dying mother. Ben Theis will prove Sir Tirsen's point; got it. As if Angeliana doesn't feel bad enough about everything already. Failing to save her by any means available but empathy. Having Kleiden, Aemorniel, Angelica and Aleister yell/ lecture me for wanting to take it onto myself. Trusting Aemorniel to keep the mother's soul steady while getting hauled away by Angelica so that she can knock some sense into me, returning to find out she "slipped" Angeliana knew what you did, congrats JJ for making her feel anger, guilt, sorrow and love all at once. Hugging you as a result.
Have to miss August due to real life events. Can't wait to be back though, love you KR family!

Alice, if you had I would have screamed like the littlest little girl lost in a dark and freight-some wood. Thanks for not making me turn over my man card. (I'm just really grateful I didn't step on any of you!)
Highlights:
I'm really glad no one lost any life tags on the Sons of Saints mod. From what I hear if it had been a few seconds longer, at least 3 characters would have died.
Sean Moulson, you made a very good call as acting marshal on that plot. I don't know why buddy, but you just love NPCing some terrifying stuff. For the NPCs on that mod, you did a great job rping what you did; I don't know if Sean prepped you for what was coming your way or if that was all on the fly, but you were all wonderful.
Special shout out to Eve (Nutmeg), Tycko (Cameron), and all the other PCs that were a part of that horror show.
Chris Zipeto (Bran), you are the best fake blood makeup artist I have ever met. People literally stopped what they were doing and GAUPED when they saw Bolton after you showered me in red ooze.
Emily and Brian, you eat clementines like no other. You both were fantastic!

- Shadows and darkness are not to be feared. As with any other tool, it is the will of the wielder that does evil or good.

So i skipped a few months, despite usually posting here religiously. Oh well. My weekend, in short:
despite not doing much to affect the overall plot, I STILL FELT SUPER AWESOME AND IMPORTANT.
More due to personal story arc than anything, but still. I feel irrationally badass now that I can call Lore: Sorcery!!! Hee.
Other than that: Getting in late friday and scattered and quick hellos, staying up much later than i wanted to, lizardkin at the inn, general silliness and some grumpiness (sleepy christine is not usually happy christine).
Sword Mod Saturday morning! Poor group of hapless SoS who wanted out of the organization and were given it (albeit not in the way they wanted) via a roundhouse incinerate...and then the actual group of bads, also got our asses kicked and most of us dragged to Bolton's basement.
I will say this: my favorite moment was probably, 'Would anyone like a cup of tea?'
Elias, you are delightfully twisted when the situation calls for it. Stay mischievous.
Checking around market faire, talking to some of our dexcon recruits! I love seeing new and returning faces.
Jumping in the lake in costume! Who needs a swim suit when you've got six outfits for a three-day event? (Side note: Quinarian problems: What do i wear today v. how fancy do i want to be v. how comfortable do i want to be v. how hot is it and will i die of heat)
Mage's Guild meeting interrupted by Sikatha. I USED COUNTERSPELL FOR THE FIRST TIME AND FELT SUPER AWESOME AND IMPORTANT. NO SOUL HARVESTING FOR YOU, LIZARD LICH BOY.
Hanging around Alisandria for a bit (happy birthday, Jason!), talking to people there, actually fighting things when lizard kin came around. Seriously, being a spellcaster is the best thing ever, i just walked between patches of fighting things and tossed around Drain Lifes like candy.
Feast was delicious as usual.
Clean up was fun, as usual. I like the new people that helped out, but the only name I can remember right now is Elaine. Thanks for all the help guys!!
I might have actually gone to bed early because Sunday NPC shift. speaking of...
Rain! Both a good and bad thing.
Most notable, fun time: Playing the female-led crew of the Blue Bastard, and being First Mate Ciela to Dani's Captain Azure. (Azul? one of those. our theme was 'blue.')
Drunken carousing at the inn!! Notable moments: Giving Sean the nickname 'No-Nipples', and declaring he'd lost them in an incident involving a wayward acid bomb; propositioning Reese for his bird, and laughing at him because 'he thinks he's a dragon' (thanks for taking everything so well, Justin); 'recruting' Delinia, and assuring her that the girls had the run of the ship; stealing a dagger when no one was looking; getting shackled, while unconscious, to a dead body, only to be unshackled by a PC some moments after I'd woken up; the Captain and myself being asked where we had gotten most of our booty and responding with '...around' in perfect stereo.
A good weekend. I'm looking forward to the August event! Can't wait to see everyone there!

My list of highlights. While it can never be complete because too much happens and I tend to forget things, here are ones that have stayed with me even a week later:
Friday:
-Meeting new PCs/players, and getting to see them over and over again all weekend. I’ve found a new drinking buddy in Fairweather, emergency smith in Killthick, friend in Izzy, and bard cohort in Uta.
-Getting to meet Blade and having a heart-to-heart, and finding out that a satyr & an ogre see some of the world with more similarity than compared with a human.
Saturday:
-The return of Tic Tac Toe! And writing a song for her.
-Getting to finally use Requiem for the Dying – and then being scared that Bolton would get in trouble.
-Climbing lessons – only to realize I’ll have to go through them again next time, too. Thanks Jade!
-Sharing Satyrs wine. I love seeing how others take the hallucinations and run with them.
-Main mod was chaotic and frustrating, and then Buckles died. Ginny had difficulty dealing with others’ reactions as well as her own, which caused her to just hide under a table in the monastery for a while.
Sunday:
-Sunday morning Ogling. Oh, so much ogling.
-Satyr mead and “assisting” two hobbits.
-Getting to meet Sir Barak – Happy Birthday! – and getting all the weird personal questions answered – including the ones I thought would be blown off.
