August 2013 Highlights!

-All the new players I worked with! I hope you guys had fun!
-"Hug Tax!"
-Hanging out with Tatsuya.
-Psalms… Psalms… Canticles… did I mention Psalms? Ilana was pumped with so many crafting points X.x A Big thank you to Arza and Sindarion for helping Ilana write those and to Rudolph for a super dose of exalted refreshment.
-Ilana being whisked away by accident on one of the Shadow Stone Mods. Incinerating the stone to death because no one brought the Light Hammer.
-Briefly teaching Mr. Travance how to play Shut the Box and just trying to treat him like a normal guy anytime I met him. I think he appreciated it.
-Von Ritter mod. Super paranoia wins again. Hope the girl can be saved~
-Belmont mod. Judge's Belmont was pretty awesome. Though, Ilana's going to have to learn how to speak up around him or die from embarrassment.
-Pesmerga wants you to break something, you probably shouldn't.
-Also, Maxwell will be more than pleased to add 'curing the Spirit Realm of a virus' to his list of accomplishments I'm sure.
-Sunday morning 'What *is* this guy!?'
-Friday night's 'Is that a demon made of eyeballs?'
-Hanging out with the Druids Friday night too.
-Shadow King Saturday.
-Sergei's ever constant battle with my shoulder.
-The love the cookies I baked received.
-Renny and Frank's Dwarves interacting with each other.
-Maxine's Sylph calls Ilana by her name (I am guessing the spelling is Myras, but I'm probably wrong)
-My new favorite book that I'm going to read each event. Because: amazing.

-"Mars! What tried to kill you!?" (There's a decent sized puncture in my brand new shield. I don't remember ever getting hit that hard. I thought it was just some dirt till I cleaned at it)
-Homestead.
-After Homestead. Even if I got home at like... 2 AM.

Lowlight:
Being a super cool warrior monk/druid who tossed Seamus away to protect her master... only to assist Cooper running head first into a tree (I'm glad you're okay! I still feel awful)

Other highlights now that I'm not typing from a tablet:

-Ben T.'s Bishop. You did an awesome job. Though, Ilana's still not sure she should count as clergy
-Outdoor Feast. We should do this all the time we can (I'll bring cookies if we do~!)
-Dust Devil, Belegchand, Dust Devil!
-I'm figuring out how to teach lessons better! (It's hard to explain lores)
-
-Beating up an Anti-Paladin before bed Friday/Saturday (the one who escaped a couple months ago no less!) I had just left Arden/Danny to bed and then raced down to Ostcliff cause I hear tons of fighting... then I'm kinda surrounded by 6(?) bad guys and scream real loud for Danny, cause I'm pretty sure he's in bed and I'm about to get steam-rolled. In fact, I hear him, almost calmly, bark back from the bottom of the hill, "Here!" (short version) and he and Arden break the enemies up. /Dragoon Saviors

I want to start this post by thanking those who helped me Saturday night when my migraine hit. A big shout out to my pain in the ass brother Drew, and Monkey, for helping to caffeine me, and push me into bed. I'm not really sure who else to thank, because I don't remember much else besides bright lights and pain. Also thanks to those who checked up on me the next morning, you all are why I love this game so much. (For the record, having one of your biggest migraine triggers being a lack of sleep...not so fun at a LARP)


OKAY HIGHLIGHTS(And in no real order, since my brain is just writing them as they come)
-This event had such awesome RP in it, I think it was late Saturday before I even hit anything, which ended up being pretty okay.
-ALL the RP with the visiting Bishop. Danae was pretty nervous around him at first, but she really liked and respected him(even if he never stopped talking )
-Thomas and Zod. Need I say more?(Also, I'm pretty sure Thomas is my new boyfriend, so be jealous, I got him first)
-Helping to restore the faith of a Valosian priest, through any means necessary, especially those a barbarian may find uncomfortable, which led to..
-Danae's first Sorcery Ritual. She managed to stay in the room the whole time and hold the Priest's hand to help give him strength. However, as soon as it finished and the lights flew off, she bravely fell on her ass, flew out of the room(with a momentary pause from Edwin, who instilled her with confidence) and threw up everywhere outside.
-The Londwynian crystal mod was so much fun.
-Chasing around a Barbarian Beserker( ) and forcing him to take a nap in my bunk. All the jokes that ensued, especially after he thought he forgot his soul there.
-Sunday mod was also fun. Danae falling over again when she saw a big sorcery explosion(Big brave barbarian...afraid of magic.)
-A sadly short lived conversation with Billiam about order/chaos. Really left Danae with more to ponder.
-Danae's first lesson in Church justice, and first master warrior lesson.

Main mod
- Taunting the assassins, and being disappointed when her favorite one died, because she couldn't yell at him anymore.
- Waking up in Sergei's arms EVERY time I was sleep blade poisoned. Also known as, Danae's first mage friend.
-Getting to be useful by helping bring some of the heavy swingers conscious a few times. Not like her heals did much more than bring make them wake up, but she was happy to help!


And this one deserves its own mention... Midriff ladies for Life

There are tons of other highlights, but I'd need a weekend to recount them all. Can't wait til I see you guys again

Friday Night:
-Actually making it to the event! It was well worth it by far
-Getting to sit in on the scholar think tank. So that's what you people do
-Another night, another dead vampire. And two-for-one, free werewolf kill!
-Learned my first VonRitter specific skill. Can't wait for them celerities now
-Welcoming the newest master witch hunter into the fold

Saturday:
-AYEEEEEEEEERP!
-Voles and the Abyss
-Getting to play a red cap again. By far one of my favorite rolls to npc
-THE FUDGE STREAK CONTINUES!!!
-delicious, delicious feast. OM NOM NOM
-Ben's benediction as his priest. 'nuff said

Saturday Night:
-Shadow Dojo v2.0
-Londwyn bedtime stories and tag-teaming with Orion. Such a deadly combo
-"Seamus punched a tree with his face once..." :whistle:

Sunday:
-Q.L. Shen's sith test. It always brings a tear to my eye when somebody calls "spirit" and then mows an npc down
-The giant mollywomp-the-excommunicatis mod and Misaki still not being able to tell Valos from Agaurra. Raquel, you took those 10 tag skills per second like a champ. A dead champ, but a champ

never have I enjoyed the mercantile art as much as I have during the past event...
selling scrolls to whomever will buy them and then writing more... such fun
negotiating a reduced price in mithril and collecting the difference as a fee

fighting through the use of pulling a random scroll from my pocket and casting it
scavenging around for more paper, if I can write on it then it works be it napkins or copies of the chronicle lying on the table all became scrolls to fuel my profit and entertainment

Hmmm. Where to start. The weather was fantastic and I didn't mind the chilly night because of the fact that the day was cool.
Also, Mike, you did an awesome job with the event. It was very in-depth as all of your events are.
Friday
NPC Shift
Went out as Hobbit Assassins with Josh. We got Viktor to have a drink with Death Poison in it. I was just about to leave the vicinity of the inn, I heard "Hey!" It was a wrong move by me to stop because it was Sir Tiersen and Sir Cinder and they both used Detect Evil Intent so I was screwed. All because I was a Hobbit (and probably because I had a straw hat on and Viktor said something about a straw hat.
After Shift
About to head to the direction of Alisandria until I heard that Ostcliff needed help and then I ran into the direction of the things that attacked Ostcliff. So of course I didn't decide to attack them because it was just me, Morwenne and her cousin there. I ran back and saw that Morwenne and her cousin were in bubbles and that the creatures were just staying around them. I decided to hit my shield and test the monsters' intelligence. It worked and they all started coming toward me and I tried to go back to the Inn until I realized that they were staying around Pendarvin because they were already taking care of it.
Slack, Jed, Sylus, some other people that I didn't see because it was dark, and I were taking care of some bugs, undead, and the Vermin Lord. Then more people came and we got it all taken care of.
Saturday
Witnessing the ritual (which was not arcane at all) for the hammer to destroy Shadow Crystals.
Going to the Gypsy Party and the Ostcliff Tournament. I'm upset I didn't sign up for it. The food at the Gypsy Party was awesome. Jenn, you did a great job with the fudge and the cookies.
Mages' Guild meeting as I was trying to find out where the Redcap went. It was such a deep meeting about time. All I can say is it was very interesting. James, RP is always fun when you're around.
Getting to see Sannyiah and Aidan after a long time. It's been a while!
Feast was awesome as per the usual. Luis, you're the man!
Ben Theis, I couldn't keep a straight face during your benediction.
Val and I talking about how Orias likes to stare at you when he's talking about you, no matter how close or far away you are.
Main Mod
Being told that I was going to be one of the commanders and helping with formulating the plan for the battle.
Interceding two Assassinates from Alex directed to Quinn and Alex told me I was a "real problem." Getting Marked for Death as a result. Didn't affect me much because I know that the NPCs would not come towards the line too much.
Skimmel, by far, the best costuming has been on you and I was in awe because this costume tops a lot of others.
Getting ready to go deal with Pesmurga in the Spirit Realm but being told by Angelica that we didn't have to because she and other people tried to deal with it and instead made the problem worse.
Going to Londwyn and dealing with some assassins there.
Went to a Khitanese place with a lot of ronins there. For future reference, don't have a mod in the pitch black darkness near the Slab. I think Cooper can agree with this. Glad to hear you're doing better.
Sunday
Going on a Mod by the Gypsy Caravans where the portal to the Abyss was. Jasmine, want to fight again some time?
Took forever to kill Gannon and I was getting tired. Unfortunately having to leave very shortly after that.
Lowlights
Nothing!

I won't lie, I slept a lot.

I had fun on saturday being Odo and chatting about humans and waiting to storm the castle.

Actually getting to interact with Kore(?). It's very nice to get to do racial roleplay that isn't Bloodblade vs Warscream! It's a shame they kept splitting the group at the Assassin's Keep.

Sunday's rain and fighting barrage. That was interesting jumping in and solving problems.
