Oh I just remembered some of my most witty banter I have ever had between me and a psion npc.
Dominic: You cant escape me!
NPC: Yes I can!
Dominic: I'm faster than you!
NPC: No your not!
That mod was so much fun and the little things are the most memorable.

Meep. Late response, but here are some quick highlights:
* BEST NPC shift ever. Zipeto, great ideas as always. And Gina, thanks for letting me go on the New Player Mod, it was seriously a great start to my weekend. Michael C (Jericho) basically got across the idea of how that night went with those quotes. For once, I understand how much KR or well Travance has helped shape Avalyn thus far. A lot of thinking for the third month playing.
*Also, it was great playing out my ideas on Feminism and inheritance with roleplaying (NPC shift) at the Inn. It was a bit weird having my OOG boyfriend as an NPC younger brother, but hey-- roleplaying is roleplaying. :T
* OOG and IG-- I was loving the vibe from the new people who entered Travance. So innocent, and so pure... mwahahahahaha...
Saturday:
* Caught up with several individuals in which she missed dearly. [Melissa thanks for being so helpful this game and having my back, seriously loved roleplaying by you during battle.]
* The Baroness just bought ME noodles?! //swoon
* Learning to finally move a crystal... with my mind. Thank you, Master Crone.
* Overhearing some strange talk of 'personal gypsies' and several wives = menagerie. Quite peculiar, was this man with a Spade over his left eye. Zellara, bless her, for the patience she has with men. Or well, patience when people have had gold pour from their hands and mouths.
* Speaking with Demetri and learning about gypsies.
* Shaking in my boots, as I stood directly in front of the Baroness as she told me to speak clearly concerning a particular white rose. Oops... I know exactly who has that...
* Gaining two personal items from Master Crone, including a particular pin that Avalyn loves (mainly because it's a bird, not the power it possesses).
* Most grateful still for the gift from Ethan, I may never remove the headband the same way ever again.
* Complimented for my proper use of a red LED pointer at night, solely as an attention grabber so I don't have to yell "12 DAMAGE" or "6 BODY" Made my life SO much easier.
Sunday
*Listening to a Priest of Valos (NPC) who said that rightful punishment meant burning and killing people. As the talk grew darker, I followed Secarius as he got up--weapon unsheathed. Couldn't help being taken aback by such loyalty to Andorra. Avalyn questions religion, and her idea of what it meant in becoming a Valosian. It is not an easy task for her, seeing as she doesn't know what is light or dark anymore in nature.
*Speaking to newcomers, questioning their whereabouts and ideas of how Travance differs from their homelands.
* Catching up on more poetry writing, so far a poem about Death seems appropriate and oddly hilarious.
I had a great time this event. It just pushes me to further work on developing Avalyn as a newcomer who is growing into a powerful fighter. I thank Albert for his contribution on the battlefield, "I KNEW YOU WERE BAD ASS!" -_- At least he stopped calling me an Anti-Paladin or an Assassin... I had a feeling people knew he was making accusations to tease me for not giving him enough candy. JEEZ. Isn't a lollipop enough?! Thanks guys, and hope to see you next event!

Friday
-On the journey into Travance, my Nyad traveling partner died. Like, permanently.
-Getting all pissy and passive-agressive at people before, during, and a bit after the interrogation
-Honestly with it being my first night ever, things were pretty slow
Saturday
-Competing during market fest with a guy selling food. Needless to say, I lost.
-Really awesome people who taught me alchemical recipes, Dissect (that poor wild mage), and Advanced Literacy. You all know who you are.
-That racist mage-elf I argued with a bit around lunchish time. You're my fifth favorite elf now, dude.
-Going out on quests and the parties destroying two of the shadow crustal things. Those hurt.
-Doing battle with the shadow king and helping out a pretty damn weak Jonathan Travance. I was in a good mood. Saw my first legitimate shooting star after the battle.
-Gwynned I swear you're so damn generous...
Sunday
-NPC day! Started as a poor peasant gathering information and money for a celebration of Travance. Special thanks to team hoods, our smart one, perceptive one, and dumb one. You three really made my morning.
-Then there was human sacrifice. It was nice to legitimately feel powerful and hold my own in battle.
-Finally, I pretended to follow around a twisted Valosian preacher and defend the hell out of him. Good friend played my cousin who was kicked in the head by a mule as a kid. Then we had to put down my mule. Ooc it was his 21st, so happy birthday to him again!
All in all, a great first session, and I'm looking forward to the next one being even better!

Greetings All.
I wanted to first of say thank you to the staff for all of their hard work. I have been Larping a for a bit and I have to say that watching the Staff engine at work was impressive.
Here are a few reasons:
Logistics: Your new player package and player training was fantastic. The armor marshal and weapons inspections were fast and efficient. Thank you for making that painless so that I was able to get into game as fast as possible. The speed that the line formed and moved through this location was fantastic. I have seen games of thirty people take longer than what you were able to do. Very impressive mates, very impressive.
NPC: The communication level with your NPC's was great. you made sure that they were constantly out there entertaining the players and keeping downtime to a bare minimum. The NPC clothing and weapon location as well as the make up areas were organized throughout the weekend. I compliment you guys on how well you kept it together as I had come in a few times to reapply my war paint and scriptures across my face. I never saw a cluster of rags stay for any length of time and the fact that NPC's put back their props each time gains a salute from me.
Rules Marshalls: I was always able to find a member of your staff to answer any questions that I had. This made being a new player to your system painless in comparison to other events I have been to.
Kitchen Staff: Your meals were very tasty and the never ending supply of drinks for the bar really fed into the atmosphere of your event. I was always welcomed to ask a question without issue and really enjoyed lending a helping hand before the event began. No one was bossy or rude in my time there and that is truly appreciated.
Plot: Now onto the event itself. Your storyline took into account both new and existing players and made them feel welcome. The many different quests to take care of the teleport locations for the big evil of Saturday Night was a sigh of relief. Too many times the Gods walking around an event will take care of matters and make new players feel like they are there just to tag along an watch the show. This was not the case and it was duly noted. I have owned and consulted for different games and this was one of the best combining of the ENTIRE player base that I have seen.
Now as for myself, I have my highlights:
- Roleplaying the many misadventures with James Fair Weather was fantastic. Thank you for always keeping me entertained in this manner.
- Roleplaying the fact that water in your lands is given freely and my complete confusion over this was enjoyable. I was so stunned by this fact that I needed to give gifts to your barmaids out of humility for receiving such a gift.(thank you Jasmine)
- Interacting with your Baroness and being able to spend time chit chatting with her was a great experience. Thank you for your time and quality roleplaying.
- The many different modules including the last mad dash to the final location on Saturday night and holding the front line with a fellow shield wielder was a thrill. The combat was fast and exciting.
- Your magister was a great character to role-play with and brought an ambiance to the realm that made me excited to return. (Thank you Jason)
- Sitting with a Dark elf at the Tournament and watching people looking around desperately for a Bedouin was hilarious. Even better was talking to the person looking for one until that moment of epiphany that I am Bedouin and making him stand next to me for his friends to realize this as well. This scene made me smile.
- Roleplaying pole arm training on Sunday was great. Singing death chants while striking made me smile. (Thank you Pig)
Seeing so many old friends at your event really made my return to a game heartwarming. Kirsten, Michelle, Garrette, Padma, Gooses, Romeo, Ben, JR, Byron, Chris D and so many more made the time together really enjoyable.
And finally James. Thank you for a warm welcome to your game. You have truly made this an event that I look forward to returning to. I will recommend this game to others that I speak to and look forward to returning. I even went and bought new costuming for when I return
One Last thing: I wanted to personally thank Geoffrey Schaller for all his help in getting me on your forums. Without him I would not have been able to tell your staff and players how much I enjoyed the event.
