Oh boy.... With as much of a high and low that happened on Friday afternoon for me, there was some worry about this weekend on the fun scale but my worries proved to be groundless.
Lots of tidbits that apply both IC and Out...
- Being the scout on Friday Eve during Creature Hunting and having a number of potent Travancians follow his direction. I might not be the fastest on foot... but I do know how to make a shadow sound noisier than me when scouting ahead and know how to wage open field fighting with limited numbers. The joys of RL experience coming into play for some seriously scary IC activity.
- Watching the Baronial Guard meeting at Birgitta's behest and joining in their runs to assist folks under attack. Got a solid eyeful of how they fight and what they do & don't do when engaged in fighting and not, among other things. That they wonder why they have the image problem they have.... *face palm*
- Some cool RP learning Druid stuff and a bit of Ranger tricks throughout the weekend. Showing skill with sword during a fight that interrupted bastard weapon teaching session... Worth the mad-minute of fighting ( "Aye.. ye obviously know yer business with the weapon; I can teach no more about it...")
- The cool gift from a sword-brother of my Bastard Weapon teacher. As he can no longer use the weapon, he was looking for someone worthy of using it against enemies of Travance. Rest assured, it will be... I just need to find a proper physrep for it.
-Demonstrating to a bandit with a halberd that just cause he has reach with a bit of speed does not mean he can't be avoided, parried and hit for his efforts as I bought time for backup to get there.... All this while having only FOUR body left.
(Of course, Birgitta saw this fight and decided I was doing just fine...)
-Great interactions with various other members of Travance... especially with one of the Dwarves in discussing the lesser points of Goblins and what good they were.
-I did not go after Peshmirga (sp?) and was an NPC Baddie for the Saturday Big Fight... but kudos to Steve for adjusting to player-driven changes in his Evil Master Plan and still making it work. Sorry we couldn't stop them on Saturday, boss... Your minions did the best we could.
-Kudos to the Players of KR for putting to bed a decade-old plotline/headache for Travance.... and mad props to the players who sacrificed themselves to make that happen.
One serious bit....
-Having folks being willing to call for RL medical help when its needed.
"Walking It Off", while a good concept for some injuries, is not always the brightest idea when there can be more going on than you can see and/or feel (through the pain).
For the few folks I helped out this weekend (all resulted in minor treatment being needed and advice on immediate future activity), thank you for saying something when a bit of excrement hit the oscillator.
For the former Combat Medic who pitched in during Friday mod, thank you again for stepping up. I can't be everywhere (the gods know I try!!) and knowing there is others with skills out there is a wonderful fuzzy feeling have and lessens my personal worries. Thank you my brother!
*******
All in all, a fun weekend and I look forward to the next event!

Damn! That's all I can say at this point. This was a great event, so much tasty RP to savor. So hmmm.... let's break it down into days.
Friday: It was Draven's Birthday so the man decided to get drunk. Drunk Draven is a funny Draven I'll tell ya what.I got in a few drinks myself though after working the overnight the previous night I turned in early so friday was pretty short for me.
Saturday: Waking up with ten minutes til NPC shift then going out as imps as those portals opened was fun. I got to wake up someone sleeping in Ostclif with an Inferno. I will forever be known as the Mark Hamil Imp! I got a lot of good reactions from my imp RP and that was nice. After that I got to be a suit of armor and then a bandit who spit in Augustus' face and told Ginyuki after telling me how I would be tortured to bring it on (Putting that in a very PG sense btw). After that I returned to Alisandria for a discussion about respect with Squire Draven, then that lead to a less with Myron (sp?) on how to read and write. After that I made the vital mistake of listening to Radu and jumping into a water elemental portal in which I lost a life tag. (Number 38 on the death count!!!) After my first trip through the focus, I returned to Alisandria to get another weapon and then to the armory to get a shield made where I learned about the religion of Brozen (Sp?) from Alander, then I got a weapon Prof lesson that was brillant rp wise. From there it was feast. The food was great and the pumpkin pie I brought was awesome! Then it was time for the titan and I killed 4 demons! After which Alisandria returned to their lands and we sat around and ate a while until it was time for the drinking contest. I learned never to bet against Ginyuki.... at least for enigmatic ores..... and also, puking record! 12! and the contest got to round 21!! Way to go Weyland! From there, my night turned sour as I lost 2 more weapons and the shield I had just bought not more than a few hours prior. Being fed up, I went to sleep.
Sunday: Waking up to NPC's in Alisandria that killed me with no weapon, then listening to the heralds of Xuala. The Baroness then gave a speech that made my character want to end some of the disdain that barb's have for mages and had a good talk with Sir Gideon After that! Chicken and cake!
All in All, a couple of things. Judge and Steve Oros is one of the best damned combos when it comes to storytelling, Clove is a master druid by taming a wild field mouse, don't step into puddles, Jonas Cane pays well, and chocolate milk is good..... until round 10..... Also never, ever, ever bet against Josh, he will find a way to win..... Next time Josh..... Next time.

Ok, first of all I would like to thank all the wonderful people of Travance who made my 10 year anniversary event as wonderful as it was you guys are awesome!
Friday:
- NPCing as a Glommite Warrior Priest knocking on the door to the Monastery and telling Qwildar Glomm says hi only to have him shut the door on me.
- Mist Watcher, I love those things
- Barbarian Mod was awesome and the rp was great you guys rocked.
Saturday:
- No sleep at who knows what o'clock and watching some good old fashioned pvp, I really missed when KR wasn't a safe place :)
- Grilled Cheese, Chase you are my favorite :)
- Seamus and Wyen killing 15 demons in two and a half minutes...oh yea it was bad ass just ask shane.
- Hearing that all the old hunters died made me so pissed I punched Verrill in the face as hard as I could. Sorry bro lol.
- having a talk with Blacktree about becoming a Hunter and giving up some more delicate parts to my back story.
- Breaking KR odds by having Blacktree making me a Hunter and winning the 100 dollar gift card all in a span of 5 mins.
- Hearing the Baroness talk about the dead hunters, I almost cried for real I think this actually is breaking Wyen.
- Main Mod, Tork and Wyen protecting the entire back line...we are that badass!
- Seeing a nyad cry and helping her through a tough time...wow the rp from that.
- DWARVEN CREAM ALE DRINKING CONTEST! I got third, good job Waylen.
- Finally some sleep
Sunday:
- Hearing Takouri was taken and telling everyone I was gonna kill Xualla to get him back...no joke he would have been a dead demon.
- Telling Clytie that Wyen was attracted to her and mutually choosing to get to know each other as friends before committing to anything rash :)
- Rp with everyone I missed all weekend.
This has been the most emotional event I have ever been to. I am so drained and would have it no other way. Steve you rock and I want you to know you seriously did a great damn job. Judge, I so want to find Pesmerga's body and just keep hitting it. To everyone else who made my weekend great I love you all and thank you.

OH MY GODS STEVE OROS IS ALL OF THE YES!!! Not only did steve create an epic weekend of awesomeness but with all the roleplay going on it was a truly remember able event.
Friday: Ending of the Pesmerga plot and the ending of 4 great witch hunting masters. The amount of sadness and pain from every character at this time was more than palpable. It was one of the greatest scenes that was far greater than anything I could have imagined. from The night ending for Dominic falling asleep at Kellors bodys feat. The death of the masters having a greater effect on Dominic than even I thought.
Saturday: Lots of follow up rp the next day with everyone. Main mod was an epic coordination of everyone.
Sunday: Ending the weekend with more rp and even helping with a lesson.
Overall: This entire weekend has been filled with great rp moments getting Dominic to start walking a thin line and his alignment in the future to be shakier than ever before. Not even I know whats going to happen with Dominic from now on but it will lead to some glorious rp.

In the death of the master, a new enemy for his students is born...boy am I glad I asked for her name.
Had a great conversation with Mixolydia on Friday night. I wish I got to spend more hang out time with you Jen!
Thank you Judge and Steve for everything that you did this weekend.
Also thank you to the incredible bad assess that were up on that roof during main mod! I was never more jealous that I wasn't an archer!
Somber Tobar was terrifying.
I'm so happy that Kate and Mark were able to visit, watching my old uncle call all the nice people of Travance racists, like Angeliana.

Friday. Getting into game. The whole ride up was depression from loss of my job. Again. So getting into character was hard...until I got to see people who carried me along with such companionship that the real world was swept away. It's amazing what atmosphere and loving peeps you haven't seen in forever will do. Friday night itself was RP awesome talking with a particular scribe about winter dark ball. Deep relationship RP was awesome. Fighting wandering bad guys even better. Multiple escorts home successful. No encounters...lucky?
Sat. Morning meeting of the Guard hound have been 15 to 30 min but you really ant get that with constantly hearing attacks from demons devils ogres etc etc etc...oh and it's just a goblin ringing a bell... Again. Trying to recruit for the Guard. I has good peeps for this and you know who you are...run with the guard see te world...kill the bad guys again and again and again.
Sat afternoon rinse and repeat in guarding the portal place and small battles... SMITHING! Learning many skills and actually smithing. The horseshoes I brought make real clanking sounds at the forge. I was so happy to see thm used. My farrier will be tickled to know this. I also got to teach in return. Loved that with all solid RP.
Sat feast. I want the recipe still Luis and you need to find me on Facebook!
Sat NPC duty. Having really fallen and yes busted blood vessels in my leg on the rocks in the road. I was not up for fighting... So goblin mother victim of kidnapping for me. Oh and torture! The TORTURE! Damn but its hard to scream like you are gagged when your not. Lol. Good times.
Sunday morning good RP and small fighting leg better but still hurting. Epsom salt soak last night and his AM has helped.

A great event, definitely among my favorites thus far. Some highlights include:
-skulking about Friday night, avoiding all and eavesdropping on important conversations. Ain't no substitute for OOG stealth!
-Yelling at Mairin for trying to talk to me. A little awkward, but it got my insanities noticed.
-Saturday NPC shift was the best shift I have ever had. Spent about 3 hours as a gobbo, but was slightly disturbed by the willingness of townsfolk to kill for no reason at all. Let's kill the goblin for ringing the bell, that seems like a reasonable use of force!
-Fighting the water elementals Saturday afternoon was fun. Getting to second base with one was even better!
-Being not only useful but vital during a massive fight for once was a pleasant change of pace. Not missing a single shot was nice, but the real fun came from the cheers each shot heralded in. Finally breaking out my EL wire and glow gloves in front of the whole town was great, although it almost got me killed by Magnus.
All in all, a great event.

This was an awesome event all around. I keep trying to pick out highlights, but there were so many.
Right off the bat I'm going to have to say that the "advice" conversation Aella and Caldor had with Keavy in the Inn and on the waterfront is some of the most fun RP I've had at KR.
The earlier similar conversations and "lessons" for Rowan were also just pure fun. I'm not QUITE sure how Caldor ended up in this situation, but he's currently been asked/charged with finding 5 people proper mates and helping with relationships. Is there a Yenta list I didn't realize he opened?
Friday:
Being at Lay On is very rare for me, so I very much enjoyed the social aspects and the free time to really mingle.
Very much enjoyed the RP of hana, the hook for the Druid Mod the next night. As always, Caldor has a hard time when the hook NPC who is hurt or seeking help has to leave for what is OOG reasons. If he had his way, being a hook NPC would end up a full weekend gig.
Got involved in some fighting, but didn't go into the spirit realm stuff... Spent much time worried about those who did.
Sadly ended up falling asleep before a great Barbarian mod... I heard so much about it and really hope I'll be there if there is another.
Saturday:
Gwennyth gave a lovely mass to a small group for those who Fell permanently the night before. It was very sweet and very moving. Hearing she wanted Caldor's help getting Plastered in Kwildar's honor was great!
The mid-level mod was really fun. I like where it seems to be going. I'm really interested to see where this key ends up taking us.
All the above advice conversations. Yeah, so much fun, I'm mentioning them twice. I'm stunned these conversations remained PG while being very clear what we meant.
"And Rowan... if you are lucky.. this"...
I enjoyed going into the forest to find the Hermit. Props to JR for finding some fun RP for the people who came along to protect us and for being really entertaining while making a potion. I look forward to following up on this when I'm next at an event. And I didn't forget that I owe people lots of Ice Wine!
Winning the Coyote Tail was awesome. Nice to have more fur for my costuming.
Feast was delicious. Great job!
I enjoyed main mod a lot. I think the tentacles were a fun mechanic, and I enjoyed putting cat like grace to such frequent and effective use. Plus, as I hang out with so many archers/casters, it was really cool to see their skills be key/necessary for the victory. I had a morbid desire to end up inside the titan at some point just to check it out, but fortunately, it never happened.
Angelic Kwildar at the end of the battle was amazing. Caldor will truly miss him and his sermons, so it was powerful to get to see him off.
The funeral on the waterfront. It was really nice, and I was very sad to have to leave it. However, Caldor promised he'd be there for Hanna at 1 am, and so he went. Caldor is very nervous that Hanna didn't show, but put his all into achieving the task for her.
The Blighted Keep mod was really cool. I really like the level limiting mechanic of the Blighted Keep. It was fun and challenging, and put everyone on even footing - while letting the 5 and under be effectively more powerful. There is a cool moment where the level 3 Healer is actually the most powerful healer of the entire group. I was sad Typhon and I weren't able to participate in the ritual itself after building up to it, but it was a cool ritual to observe and protect. I want to apologize for loosing my OOG temper during a part of that mod. There was some bad communication, and I was tired. I thank the people who were rational and calmed me down and got me back into RP mode.
Went to sleep soon after this as I was exhausted. Really wanted to stay up later but just couldn't.
Sunday
Grim's party was nice. The dwarves were so good to us, and so many people came down to wish him a happy birthday. I'm especially happy that so many people gave him stunning blows, body blocks or other traditional Barbarian birthday party hits!
The elementals and herald were interesting. I never quite followed why he was "testing us" or why we had to keep fighting, so I just sat back and supported those who did.
I very much enjoyed the Baroness' table-top speeches, and I really felt the unity and community of Travance. As much as I'm going to be sad to miss next event, since the entire Heargren clan will be gone for it, it opened some interesting between events opportunities for us.
Again, great event, wonderful to see you all, and I can't wait to see people at the Ball!

Wow... okay there were a lot this game, so I'm going to have to do a top list. Several in character one oog:
Friday:
-Bartending Friday night! The inn really was the place to be and I had a BLAST taking a shift behind the bar. Want to thank everyone who was there and kept it interesting. Especially Cri (spelling?) the Bard who came up with a song on the spot, which was amazing!
-Waiting a the monistary waiting for those who had gone through to the spirit realm to come back and actually being there when the fallen were brought in... It was extremely emotional. It was possibly the first time that Thalia REALLY understood for herself that - in spite of it being drilled into her brain from an early age - that you cannot always save everyone, there is a time when there is just nothing you can do. The lesson of the intelectual knowing vs. the real world seeing. Sometimes all you can do is try and comfort the survivors and let them mourn.
Saturday:
Poisoned a guy! No, not literally: I had my first healing lesson with Gwennyth, who rightly suggested that since I've been tending bar, learning to take away poisons might be a good idea. So we bought someone two Dragons Breath Ales. She healed him the first time, then I got to heal him. Which... worked a bit? Need more practice!
OOG Saturday: Asking James C. Kimball whether or not the guinea pig- I mean gracious volunteer, got to keep the Dragons Breath stat buffs after technically drinking two. The answer was yes along with a look of "...you're doing what? Why are you doing this thing?!"
Sunday:
I had an NPC shift for most of the morning but managed to get to Grim's party before heading to camp cleanup.
Was also reminded that I need to go down and meet the other dwarves in the Gap! :)
All and all, a very good weekend! See you all in December! :)

Friday:
Got to just hang around for a while with Duncan. Watched lesson being given at the armory. Taught Caldor how to cast Forceful gust.
I think the biggest problem with Travence is all the damn vampires...and demons and wolves and oh never mind. Got jumped by vampires in the middle of Dwarven Paths.
Dropped my armor off for adjustments. Being short sucks. Wish I was tall and awesome like some people. Socialized and was afraid fir everyone going to fight Pashmerga. It was disheartening to hear how many people did not come back. However Aella was so proud and happy that they had such great deaths and she is sure that their legends will be sung to the heavens forever. SHe was sad to hear that Quildar died, but was actually happy that he died doing EXACTLY what he needed to do. The short time that she knew him, she was so impressed by his piety and is sad that there will be no more masses lead by him.
Did not make it to the Barbarian mod. I was sad, but I am beyond able to function if I don't get sleep.
Saturday:
Went out to track some people with Kleidin. Got my 4th Master Marksman lesson. Wooo.
Cooked lunch. I am excited about cooking lunch for KR when I am around. I really like doing kitchen duty at that time. It's fun and relaxing. :) Can't wait till I do it again.
Fought off elementals and stuck around Kaladonia for awhile.
Feast outside is always fun.
Main mod: WOW that was so much fun. BEing an archer was great at this event. I LOVED the whole battle. But best of all I LOVED being able to see. I could really tell who was friend and who was FOE. I hope every event we have this much lighting, because often I am sitting there unsure who I should hit.
Giving "relationship" advice to Keavy.. oh my!
Funeral: was sad, but a good event. Aella felt it should have been a big party. We should have had food and alcohol and dancers. That's why Barbarian funerals kick booty!
Druidy Mod: For what I was there for, it seemed fun.
BED! Sweet dreams for me.
Sunday:
Waking up knowing you are dehydrated because you don't need to pee.... not fun times.
The baroness' speech was uplifting and nice. Watching the looks on the faces of the two new Squires for the baroness was PRICELESS! Congrats again!
Grimkill's party was nice. I made a huge cake. Turned my back on it to give it to the people at logistics and came back and the cake was GONE. I didn't get a slice, so I can only hope it was good. Don't feel bad, Chocolate cake is my least favorite cake. I prefer ice cream. I got my armor back!!! It fits now... YAY!

Friday
Saturday
Found my brother, Murlax, asleep in the attic.
((OOG: I seriously freaked out when someone's hair went on fire at the wake, oh and "Hey watch out for that Goose..."))
Best quote ever for me OOG:
Sunday (around 1AM)
Left Knight Realms because of an emergency with Charlie (IG: Secarius), my boyfriend. I wish I could have stayed, but of course, his health will always be first.
I truly had a great time, and I wanted to thank everyone for being so kind when I was in a panic from Saturday (night) into Sunday. [OOG]
Can't wait to see you all in November! I really missed you guys.

Fastest, most intense event I've had in my five months of being apart of KR. First off, I want to thank Judge for the best role-playing I've seen thus far. He's enchanted me as Ethan, and caused me to almost piss myself as Pesmerga. Next, on my list of thanks, I'd like to thank Steve for a grand ol' time. Wouldn't be the same without his grand storytelling (this includes Judge too of course.). And finally, I wanted to thank Brother Kwildar for making me cry for the first time in Knight Realms. I am not easy to put to tears, seeing as I was even there for the May event (starring Miss Julie and Zuwala). It was heartbreaking, and I wanted to really thank everyone in general for mourning with Avalyn during the wake. It was quite beautiful.
Friday
- Got in late. (there goes Avalyn running around like a mad woman)
- Hugged Kwildar when I first walked in the door to the Inn. Didn't know it'd be my last time...
- Dragged around my little brother, making sure he was well taken care of. Murlax, was quite nervous as I dragged him through with me into Travance.
- Discovering Murlax's true nature and being told to dispose of him. I refused.
- Encountering a horde of vampires in which surrounded myself, Secarius, Aelyria, and Squire Gregory at Ostcliff. Help got there eventually (seeing as we were yelling and blowing into a horn for fifteen minutes straight).
- Permerga surprised us all at the Bloody Stump and not the "good" kind of surprise either.
- Wind-walked out of the Bloody Stump past several vampires and right into several guards. "Pesmerga, Pesmerga is attacking Ostcliff!"
- Albert and Secarius ran into Avalyn, thinking she had taken a life tag. Secarius held her very close, exclaiming he had heard someone say they had seen my spirit. First time she realized he was genuinely concerned about her.
- Held Secarius as he sobbed for Brother Kwildar. Held myself from charging into a blind rage. Avalyn further questions her ability to become Andorran.
Saturday
- Got my dagger back, and a new dagger from Ginyuki. :) "THANKS JOSH!" [OOG]
- Won the raffle during Market Faire.
- Got an interesting lesson by Master Crone. Lesson started off badly because I wasn't able to control the frustrated emotions I had from the night before. Attacked the space around The Gilded Thrush when informed he would be my 'target practice', I managed to only hit him twice with my Psionic attacks. It's a sign that I am not fit to take control of higher attack abilities (at least for now).
- Got a new cloak for myself, and a nice leather belt for Murlax.
- Exhausted from crying and yelling, I found feast and battle to be most calming.
((OOG: I seriously freaked out when someone's hair went on fire at the wake, oh and "Hey watch out for that Goose..."))
Best quote ever for me OOG:
Me: "Can you imagine a 'My Little Pony' episode in Travance?"
Malcolm: "Kwildar would so be Fluttershy."

Nyads, all the Nyads. Its going to be an interesting ride.
Teaching Sorcery, Arch-Casting, and Master Warrior as well as rank one spells. Something for everyone.
By now, all know that consuming scrapple is part of my higher magic instructions.
Master teaching Civil service.
Four more sorcery rituals - my streak of success seems to be counterbalancing Geoff and Norm's die rolls. I can live with that.
The hour spent with Astar speaking about her future.
Explaining to many how little the promise of gold for my sorcery motivates me.
Being told there were two portals "You need to close" and being hustled off to the one requiring an Orange Master, which was a water portal discharging ice elementals. Upon determining that minor interruptions would do nothing other than slightly delay the portal's closing, I developed a rhythm of right hand wand, left hand sword. When an elemental would come through (about every 20-30 seconds) I would (having invoked Fire Battle Casting) weapon cast my spell proffed incinerate. The marshall did not mind and the few PCs and NPCs at this site were OK with it. I did say aloud I was not in a mood to suffer delay as I had another portal ahead of me and needed a nap.
Sunday morning White Lotus Trading Company hearing before the Merchant's Guild board. A very gentle, yet firm spanking was administered to Lucius. Speaking to his attorney "Doesn't it really get to you when you are made to look unprepared by your client's actions?"
I truly enjoy it when people who do not know me offer to walk me home for my safety.
Klarington Everest and the subsequent internal dialogue at the Mages' Guild. People who do not attend meetings are missing a fine show.

Well, it's been ages since I've done one of these, but I think this past weekend warrants it.
IG everyone was made aware that they would die going to fight Pesmerga. However, IG, I was was of the few who knew that certain people would not be coming back. The RP that followed, knowing that this would be the last time we rode into battle together...Samantha was crying, not Marika.
Rez Roller Coaster? Being appointed Flashlight girl as everyone stood in line to get their tickets punched... I mean their cards marked for their rez. Step right up to see the the Season Finale of Knight Realms! Cost of the ticket? A life tag.
Worth it.
The entire last half of the battle was a cut-scene. An amazing, heart-wrenching cut-scene. Seeing everyone rush over to Lethias, Kiellor, Shamis, Tari and Kwildar's bodies...I can't even.
"I would have said yes."
"I know."
Really Cooper?! You HAD to Han Solo it?!
Being the one to carry Shamis's body back from the site...my throat is still scratchy from all the crying.
I missed most of Saturday due to a wedding OOG, but made it back in time for the funeral (what a contrast).
First ever Witchhunter Benediction? Feeling like I did a crappy job, but hey, IG I was distraught and OOG I can't do public speaking.
"Master Kiellor would be really angry that we didn't bring marshmallows to roast.
Shamis would be mad there was no bacon.
Lethias would wonder where the coffee was."
It was dark, I don't remember who said what...but that was the gist of it.
Being told an annoyingly high number of times that witchhunters don't cry, and trying to find a way to explain that it was Samantha crying, not Marika.
After so long, FINALLY getting in a few lessons for poor William Sterling. Allergies. Yes William. Allergies.
This was an exhausting event. Good, but exhausting.

It was amusing how many times I overheard the following conversation in different forms:
Priest "Please bring me to Lethias' body so I can perform last rites on it."
Apprentice: "Are you Chroniclerite?"
Priest: "... No."
Apprentice: *incredulously* "...Have you even met the deceased?"

I bet a Reign said that. A hunter who never cries has probably let themselves become a monster. It doesn't matter if you're crying, as long as your staking arm still knows what to do. That said, suck it upMother Marika wrote: Being told an annoyingly high number of times that witchhunters don't cry, and trying to find a way to explain that it was Samantha crying, not Marika.

-Ilana swordless, walks with Danny towards the monastery to try and figure out where Unity's decided to wander off to. We run into 6 (8?) vampires on the road. Now, at the time, we didn't realize they were 'weak' vampires. We were thinking the usual celerity kind of vampires. A quick windwalker and me calling for help while I got my sword, and we knew the demons we were anticipating would have to wait.
-A final Master Witch Hunter lesson from Keillor and Shamis about the body, spirit, and heart. It was really the last conversation Ilana had with them, aside from the goodbyes, and she is honored by it.
-Ilana missed out on the Pesmerga battle partially because she was requested not to go, mostly because it ended up being during my NPC shift. But, Ilana got to have her own misadventure during it since Judge/Alisia are so nice.
-Erdrick.

-Hanging out with Alander and teaching him about 'civilized' goblins and crazy human business.
-Also, totally being hit on by a dwarf was amusing. I can't remember the last time Ilana was called 'gorgeous' (if ever)
-Fighting the Titan Demon head. I'm so happy there wasn't 8 eyes like we were worried about. Lots of RP on the battle field as almost everyone I saw reacted properly to the eyes.
-Getting to say goodbye to Kwildar briefly during a moment of peace on the battlefield.
-So a sylvan, half-elf, two celts, and a dwarf decide to have a drinking contest in memory of the fallen. We didn't get far, but Keavy had to step out.
-A Funeral and a True Warlock.
-Ilana built up the courage to ask something super important Saturday night, but the party to be asked was too tired to stay up. Chance lost. Maybe she'll feel stupidly brave some other day
-Sindarion's face as he got squired and how proud Ilana was. That Owen kid is pretty awesome too (His excitement over getting the Titan heart was terrific to watch)
-Xualla's heralds and the Baroness' reaction as she made the announcement.
-Thinking everything might finally be alright and the future was changed until Morwenne explained a few things on Sunday. Then Ilana explained to Morwenne a few things, and then they both freaked out. It's been kind off an on/off relationship between the White Sorcerer and Wild Mage over the years. They're kinda friends (except the part the Chimera totally wants to eat Ilana) But, I have a feeling in the next couple of months they're going to be seeing a lot of each other (Saving the world one mistake at a time! )
-Erdrick.

Oi; so to begin...
Brutal noob mod: Many thanks to the healers in tow. Avalyn's 'lil bro is gonna be something else.
Made a new friend while picking the maddening little burrs out of my cloak. You're awesome Mae [sp?] (Retcon - Liz)! Who the heck was Jen?..
Covered some small party movement tactics with Swyft. Moments later realized they went out the window under pressure. Got dropped before Caledonia comes to our aid. Lmao!
Asked to jump in on the Barbarian tomb mod: way above my pay grade, but awesome RP all around (I'm lookin' at you Josh.) Misaki passed a rune off to me, much to my detriment a bit later; but got to feel like a BAMF using space to my advantage enough to draw aggro from the dark priest. This led to getting dropped, and the subsequent getting Ig/Oog punched by a healer... XD.
6:30 Saturday morning, and the first failed bid at some sleep.
NPC shift on no sleep. Got to run my first non-mook NPC - abyssal warlock with 800 body and tags a mile long... Found out it's tiring to be the boss.
Failed bid at some sleep #2
Both lmao and touched that I got psychoanalyzed for being delirious with lack of sleep. Fortunately glad to realize the gypsy healer whose name escapes me (uncle something or other...) was every bit as funny after I got some sleep.
Post feast attempt to get some skills on my card - failure, but got some time to make new acquaintances and catch up with some buddies. Mainly staying at the inn bemoaning the tactical folly of the nights events. Seriously suspicious the nights events were an attempt to divide and conquer. Unfounded.
Main mod - Was asked to stand with Ostcliff and gladly obliged. Listening to a couple folks get downright silly: Marching to what seems like the end of the world, while laughing maniacally about puddle being a funny word. So hard to keep a straight face.
Glorious sleep!
Refreshed and ready to pump out skill learnings; Thanks for searching me out Luis - I'll have to be more proactive about finding you; I know you've got a lot on your plate, and it meant a lot to me you came to make sure I was seen to. Definitely gonna drop at least a trip or disarm next game!
As usual: Community was great. If nothing else, this is the part that's going to keep my coming back.
Epilogue: Diner time; getting some clarifications that will help me start my history quest. Thankya Tobar!

Thanks for an awesome event, Steve!
Friday:
Friday was a bit quiet for me since I had my Logistics shift at 2-6 when the Pesmerga fun began. I had fun realizing that I could swing elements at will. I wish I could do that all the time haha. Hearing Alyria's horn at Ostcliff, subsequently getting my leg broken by (I think) vampires. Having a conversation with Skarosh in the dark only to get chewed on by Umbre Viata. Also, having Tari get her closure to everyone, which Keavy disliked. "Stop talking to me as if you are going to die."
Then shift. Steve Oros walking into logistics telling us how many deaths he caused caused an uproar of cheering.....and then the 5 (at the time) perma-deaths.
"Lethias.
Keillor.
Seamus.
Tari and......
Kwildar"
-ROOM EXPLODES INTO SHOCK-WHAAAAAT?!!
Also, rolling Tari's insanities was hilarious.
Saturday:
Fighting Demons at Ostcliff, getting my arm broken and trying to get Swyft to fix it, ultimately leading to a roller coaster ride she was not expecting as I dragged her around to avoid being hit by others and half fighting at the same time. Eventually broke away and fought with one arm instead because people were getting surrounded.
Squire Trials! Well, before my interview, I had an interesting time while dealing with some rowdy goblins who had given up on life. Meanwhile, Alender, being the dwarf he is, thought they should be killed. Zeke (Chuck's goblin who happened to be there) and one of the other goblins ended up in crit by his hand and Keavy was angry about that. After managing to try and help them get their lives back, Keavy was still boiling about it and other injustices, prejudices and it became an overall emotional moment for her and Rain helped her back to her senses literally just as she is called for her interview.
Then the interview!! I don't know how I managed to keep cool after all that, but it was interesting.
Some chats with Dawn lead to an unexpected "present" of a box with mini ritual components and a message....which Keavy has no clue about!
Talk about the titan demons with Clarington Everest. Attack on Travance, basically. I'm apparently the Mikasa of the town.
Learned Entwine with Vines from Caelvan!
Feast!
Main Mod:
It must have been fun for archers and those with a good arm to throw packets haha I did like how we remained in our formations as a unit and managed to take down the surrounding demons and tentacles.
Having probably one of the best conversations with Caldor and Aella about...well, a special topic. One that Keavy is very very VERY naive about.
Blighted Keep mod. I only have seven body?! Crap!
Sunday:
Grim's birthday! And chaos warriors, elementals, and demons! Got to take down my friend Jen multiple times when she played the demon. Its awesome to fight with your best friend/roommate haha Also, nearly being chaotically altered by Alex's messenger npc followed by Brightstar retaliating.
Then, being tricked into unconsciousness by Caelvan to get "fixed" by Ilana to get rid of my delusions. Needless to say a slap was in order, and a slap was dealt haha.
And Congrats to new Squires Owen and Sindarion!
Cannot wait for next event!!!

On behalf of the Anvilhorns and DwarvenPaths, let me just say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who visited us during our second trip to the Proper. We were busy from mid-afternoon on Friday through packing on Sunday with making items, repair items, and selling our wares.
Although we didn't get a chance to play very much, watching the interactions of others was entertaining to say the least. The best was a Keavy growling at a dwarf for his advances on a goblin. Was absolutely fun to watch and only wish "pacify" wasn't such an effective spell.
Being able to speak with the Baroness for just a minute or two was also a highlight for me personally.
Glad everyone enjoyed the pork loin Saturday and the dwarven candy bars Saturday night/Sunday morning.
Accomplishments for us included:
- Countless repairs of armor on the field with some of those being in-game
- Lots of orders for new armor that will be arriving to the Proper soon
- Replacing the "saddles" on two small ponies that frequent the Proper between events
- Actually making it up to the Inn and getting the drawing completed before feast (we were working so hard on stuff we almost lost track of time)
The Dwarven Dark Cream Ale drinking contest was, to say the least, an experience!! Records were set during and after the event. Congrats to the winner, Weylin (sp?) for downing 22 9-ounce cups of the ale and being the last man at the table!!! If you have never seen or heard this contest before, it is fun to watch and listen to (well sort of).
Grim's Birthday Party was interesting and totally as expected. Many started to eat and then ran to the sound of fighting. When they returned their numbers had grown and this was repeated several times. Congrats on the start of another year Grim and hope you have many more. And even though it went too quickly, the cake was very good!!
Seeing so many pieces of armor that we made being worn by their owners was a huge highlight for us.
It was great seeing so many friends, making many new ones, and hope to see everyone again sometime in the spring.

This weekend was awesome for me, with lots of awesome RP.
Friday night was amazing. I was tasked by Aemorniel to get Lethias' story when she thought she wouldn't be there. So I was still making sure to get that done, but I asked why...and found out Lethias was fated to die killing Pesmerga. Making the choice to give up a lifetag in order to witness this event was a really hard decision, but once I made it I knew it was the right one, and it felt like the most Chroniclerite thing I've ever done. I wish I could have been taking notes on what happened as I was there, but it's hard to take notes in the dark...
Watching was amazing, and I was holding up mostly fine until Kwildar...and then I got to find out how well barrier spray can work.
Also, I am so glad I got to scribe for most of the squire trials. I learned fascinating things about the applicants, learned a lot more about what it meant to be squire and nobility, and even got to learn more about Lord and Lady Brightstar and our Baroness based on the questions asked and how they responded at the end. Also, due to circumstance, I got the opportunity to take notes on some important meetings. I hope to get to do so more often!
I'm sure there's a lot more I'm forgetting, but that's enough for now

My first event in over a year... And I loved it.
-Coming in the doors and seeing Luis. Honestly? Event. Made.
-Seeing everyone again.
-GETTING A BED IN THE INN!!!
-PC
-Being slightly frustrated with the whole Pes situation...
-Deciding to meditate out that frustration by helping with a cloak! (And I am Liz!!! lol)
-Thereby making a new friend! That I almost got killed. By pretty much saying "No, youre coming with"
-Hearing the plan the town literally seemed to make up out of nowhere and the intense rp struggle Mae had trying to figure out what to do
-Finally coming to terms with her decision
-Wanting her mentor.... soooo...... freaknnn....... bad..... and Luis you weren't there ><
-When I did get to talk to him though, him totally being like "Well that was the right decision. Ta da!"
-Walking around forevers....
-Getting told I don't know how many times (sometimes very kindly) "I don't know if you should be there.... aren't you new?" And looking at them and shaking my head.
-Getting to know the Baroness! I really am not sure how many more times I could have put my foot in my mouth. Really don't.
-Making sure peoples were taught! If I cant teach you, I will make sure my teacher (who is your teacher) will do it
-The unexpected event that made me go internally "GDI!"
NPC
-Just. The last thing we were sent out on. Just. That. Nadi and co know what I mean. Just saying
-Also? Gypsy wild mage running from 5 whateverwewere until Alisandria finally came out
-Also? Omg my feet hurt
-And finally? Showers are the best.
Love all!

This Event was amazing. Just what I needed after four weeks of school.
-I met another Elven ranger. She was so fun to hang out with.
-Screw you Lucius and your scrubby pirate ways.
-I met Bolton, and got really scared by him. Going to have to remind myself to not do anything stupid for the rest of my time in Travance.
-Watching all the Witch hunters leave to fight Pesmerga. It was hard seeing so many people march off to their deaths, especially Dominic, who became a became a friend for Kanas and sort of a big brother figure.
- The Northener Mod with Jarl Wolfgar. It was remarkable due to the conversation with Wolfgar about the meaning of strength, in which he said "Strength is not power, nor is it ability or prowess. It is the ability to do what is right and honorable." Thanks Wolfgar. You taught me much about the world and what I should stand for.
-So many demons and elementals. Kind of got annoying after a while. Though on the bright side I did get to solo outflank a group of demons and break their ranks with a lot of arrows. Totally worth it
-The low level mod with the demon portal was fantastic. I finally got to do something melee based. Dual daggers for the win.
-I have no idea what was happening during Inverted Tower. Worshipers of Agguara and a trickster mage.
-Good feast. I loved the pie.
-Sleeves!!!!
-I NPCed Main Mod. I might do that again. It was really fun and tiring.
-Was going to help with Blighted Keep, but I got really tired and I had to sleep.
-Demons upon demons upon demons. So many demons I couldn't keep track.
-I tripped a tier IV demon. It was good.
-I will not get tired to tabletop speeches.
-Curly illusionary mustaches all around!!
Overall Wonder event, Can't wait to be here again

-Was going to help with Blighted Keep, but I got really tired and I had to sleep.
-Demons upon demons upon demons. So many demons I couldn't keep track.
-I tripped a tier IV demon. It was good.
-I will not get tired to tabletop speeches.
-Curly illusionary mustaches all around!!
Overall Wonder event, Can't wait to be here again

Friday:
-First personal blade from Larp Exchange! It's a beautiful blade and it feels perfect in my hand. Thanks!
-Tea Table. That's really it. I mean I met quite a few people, lost an old friend in a far less severe way than the hunters against Pesmerga, but seriously it was rather uneventful. I didn't know anyone that died for good, so the worst that happened was reminiscing over Iona.
- A ball? Oh great, more chaos orbs in November too?
-Clytie's method of explaining magic to Goggins. Sorry about that drink! Hope it didn't keep you from finishing it.
Saturday:
-Early deal-making with a family of drow and simultaneously screwing up my friendship with the Guildmaster while standing by my personal standards.
- A trip to the Bloody Stump and the subsequent massacre. Fortunately I survived, but others weren't as lucky. At least they didn't die forever.
- Various tiny quests, like protecting and sucking up to asshole merchants and a trip to the inverted tower where we discovered a new admirer of Belegchand.
- Dissection came in handy for the first real time since I learned it. It's weird how some people took this to their advantage too, by wearing intestines as scarves and carrying hearts.
- Generally having no idea about what was going on with the plot.
- Confronting Silverbow, followed by the bad news of not being able to deal with the slaying in September until maybe January. Started sobbing, only to be comforted by Gin Yuki. That RP was pretty intense and wonderful. At least my makeup was washable and he'll be able to toss his shirt in the wash ad get it off...
-NPC shift! Being a shadow orb in the 1 AM mod was so much fun. People feared me more than the undead! Plus my dress looked badass on me.
-Trying to be an ogre heading to the drinking contest, only to be slain before we could leave the inn. Rain is gonna be the one pressing charges this time.
-Stealing everything from the bar as a rat person, and surprisingly getting away much easier than the Ogre.
- Screwing with peoples' heads by being an undead dissected just like a necromancer killed in the same place earlier.
-Yeah, the NPC stuff isn't in order. Doesn't really matter to me.
Sunday
- First time being Clytie on Sunday. A touch uneventful, but relaxing.
- Meander trying to teach me some alchemy, only to be interrupted multiple times by beasts and Xualla's dumb deal and the shattering of realms.
- Finally Meander teaches me, and we start talking to each other about the ball and what we'd wear. Quick friends right there.
- Planning the enchantment process for that pendant I use as a trophy over the death of Arlyn.
- Gin Yuki confessing feelings, and agreeing to get to know each other before jumping into anything serious. This is going to be interesting.
- Vainly trying to contact Corsair. This is definitely going to be fun, and not frustrating in the slightest. Nothing about trying to contact this guy is gonna be frustrating at all...
Altogether, much hotter than I planned, but still a fun weekend. Looking forward to the ball, see you guys there!

So many highlights...
- Lady Elawyn finding Angeliana right after lay on and giving me a much needed peptalk / support.
- Having a brief panic attack until Shamis rushed to tell Angeliana that vampire was Dame Zafrin in disguise.
- Shamis telling Angeliana not to try to save him when he dies, convincing her he is ready. “A hunter’s purpose” That was hard to accept.
- Gathering all of the components for the ritual of cleansing as well as the people to rid the world of another vampire lord.
- Croi giving Angeliana her compass, it ending up being useful, her putting woad on me last second, made me feel braver.
- Backstory plot resolution mod. A special thank you to Larry and Luis and everyone else who volunteered or got involved in this over the past year and a half. Your enthusiasm in torturing Angeliana and attention to detail in the story was nothing short of fantastic. Angeliana’s tears have healing powers and hurt undead now? Pure awesome.
- Orias chopping off Lord Maellum’s head as promised… then carting it around town until he shoved it into the Von Ritters’ hands. Sir Maxwell trying to explain why Maellum’s body didn’t turn into ash to the witch hunters. That Styrofoam head and mask were too perfectly creepy…
- All of the drinking with Orias and Sir Victor, especially satyr’s wine, made some of the chats I had to have way easier to bare.
- Being told I can’t go with people as they marched into their certain deaths to kill Pesmerga, wanting to help but not wanting to die for once… Promising I’d pull as many as I could back through the focus. Farewell hugs then farewell words whispered over corpses.
- Sir Victor not leaving Angeliana’s side and protecting her until they were both too exhausted to stand and went to get some well-deserved sleep.
- Rudolf hugging Angeliana, knowing she must have succeeded if she is still alive and thanking her. You mean to say I didn’t disappoint my uncle for once?
- Every interaction I had with Luzzini. Much needed smiles even when I was being accused of being a racist. Mark, you rock and you are hilarious.
- Combat heavy NPC shift, exhausting but well worth it when the PCs thanked me for doing a great job. Is all about making sure PCs have a good time! Plus I love seeing the confused looks from people who know my PC, when I can kick ass in a fight as an NPC haha
- Asking Lady Elawyn to heal the cut on Angeliana’s hand and everything that implied.
- Pre-main mod meeting and preparations, standing taller and more confident as Angeliana, Baroness putting me in charge of all of the healers, making sure each land on the field, as well as the triage were all well taken care of. If I’m not mistaken, no deaths during main mod = success?
- All the archers and their precision, but mostly Orias flying through the air (felt and looked like it) back and forth chaos blasting the eyes. Your physical rp blows my mind Blockus.
- Illana asking for my help saving someone. Me: “Heal Life”, “No effect”, Me: “No problem” Telling panicked people I will save the person and it will all be fine. Albert, thank you for listening to my instructions and not attempting to stop me. Finally making good use of a skill I’ve had for a year now. The grateful look and hug afterwards was very touching.
- Someone from Pendarvin resenting Angeliana for going with them, the talk afterwards. Normally someone hating her for who she is and what she stands for would have been devastating to her… not this month!
- Funeral… Angeliana couldn’t stand, too many people’s emotions on top of her own. High Pontiff’s speech.
- Private chats with the Baroness.
- Burning an Andorran priestess you say? Resolving the mod Andorran style with lovely Mother Remi, then converting and baptizing them to Andorra. Peace!
- Standing in front of Quan Liu as he threatened Tari, Bolton trying to forcefully remove Angeliana, Father Elric forcefully keeping me in place
- Taking Tari to speak with the Baroness, Lord and Lady Brightstar jumping to their feet weapons in hand.
- The Baroness reading Xualla’s offer, her counter offer. Your stellar leadership inspired me and gave me more hope and courage.
- Grim and Caldor making sure I got some chicken before my caravan was leaving, managing to hug him happy birthday without his giant sword or skin mask on him to freak Angeliana out.
Seeing and hugging all of the friends I’ve missed so dearly. Thanks for a great weekend KR family, I don’t know when I can be back but I look forward to it.

It was my first game back since Dexcon, and it was more than excellent. Everyone had very warm welcomes for me, and it made me feel exceptionally good to see all of you wonderful people again.
Also, what an event to come back to...
-Friday night was very low-key. Conversations were had, arrangements were made, and friends were seen. Everything changed when people came back from the spirit realm and there were some very distinct absences.
-As always, learning and teaching are the true highlights of my games. Thank you to each person I interacted with in this way as Winks.
-Meeting Klarington and the All-Mages-Mod. There are gonna be some interesting repercussions from that one.
-Very visually impressive main mod. Made me wish I could do more at range, but standing guard next to those who could hit the targets was a lot of fun.
-Blighted temple mod was a blast, switching in between full stats and level 1 stats was a good time.
-Plans were made for a specific scenario, then that scenario didn't happen. Time to see what happens next.
-I mentioned it elsewhere, but it's a good thing Sam M. is a science major...she was able to keep up nicely with William Sterling trying to rationalize away all of her Witch Hunter lore lessons. This may have been my favorite part of the event. Just saying.
See everyone in a month!

Wow.. That pretty much sums up the weekend.
Friday:
My first time pulling someone through the focus.
Injuring myself, but rolling with it and saying that I was using myself as vampire bait.
Being told that I couldn't go with the others because I was attuned to the focus, and elric being furious about it.
Not being able to sleep, because I was waiting for a river of souls to enter the town.
Saturday.
Holy life tags, Batman!
Going bat*bleep* insane when I saw a demon, and promptly dismembering it.
Playing Viktor for a mage mod, and trying to resolve the situation peacefully. (mainly because viktor did not want to have to put anyone back together)
Oh look, a scorpion...
the medicinal applications of the shocker lizard.
Switching back to Elric for feast, and eating all of the shepard's pie.
team Calamari...
My first baptism! (a lot of firsts)
Aaand killing gazebothulu
Sunday:
*bleep* your sword!
Elric's response to the "offer": "good luck getting through the focus!"
There are more, but I cannot remember them right now.

This event definitely was a winner for me for all the interactions that went on for me with my friends. I wasn't really involved in the demon part of the plot, instead dealing with witch hunter and priestess stuff. Honestly, I was content to deal with that stuff so others had the chance to do the research themselves.
Overall:
~Being told by many of the masters old and new "so when are you picking up witch hunter already?" because I had apparently proven myself and my devotion to the cause in my own way. Had to make me laugh when I explained that I didn't think it would be a good idea since anyone who becomes a witch hunter should be able to devote themselves entirely to the job 100%--I know I can't. It's the same reason I could never see myself seeking to become a squire for some land. I have more pressing lessons at the moment but who knows down the road.
~Making all the book, closing of chapter, ending of story, etc references I could get away with this event. No one bats an eye at me talking nerd talk anymore. There should be no question what god I follow. Haha.
Friday Night
~Coming into the town dressed in my witch hunter blacks for the prank I had been preparing for Misaki for months now with Kiellor. Misaki's face was priceless when Drew and I stalked over, tossed off our hoods at the same time. Definitely needed that laugh. Hopefully Kiellor's lesson of "she's her own damn woman damnit" sticks with my fiancée in the years to come.
~Misaki teaching Aemorniel one-handed edge. Her first weapon, people. Her first frickin' weapon skill. Aidan happened to throw me a latex rapier--my OOG weapon of choice. I couldn't pretend to not know how to use it and it clearly showed as Misaki spoke with surprise at her "natural talent" which lead to yet another story of Aemorniel and her father from her past.
~Going to the ritual with Angeliana to deal with the vampire, Lord Maelum once and for all. Aemorniel had to choose between hearing Lethias' story before coming to Travance and going to be a rock for her best friend. She put her trust into Almat to get the story, knowing she was just as interested, and did what she had to. There is a 50% chance she wouldn't had been able to finish the ritual if I didn't keep a tight grip on her hand and kept her level headed. As usual, Blockus kicked butt and cut off the creature's head but not before Dr. Maxwell embalmed him so he could keep his head as a trophy. Only you Ben. Only you. Still, it made Aemorniel happy to see the closing of that chapter in Angeliana's life.
~Seeing Mae after so long. I was so excited that I completely forgot I was carrying weapons as I charged her. Her saying "glad to see things haven't changed" made me smile.
~Being pulled over by Kiellor and Mother Arabeth (now Bishop Arabeth) to learn the story of Pesmerga when he was a mortal man and how he became a vampire. Oh Maxie!
~Deciding without hesitation to go to the fight in the Spirit Realm to see the end of Lethias' story with my own eyes--an ending I was told almost a year ago when I first became a priestess.
~Andy's PC trying to get Antrim to forbid me from going on the fight but Antrim merely listening to my reasons and saying "It's your choice." as he always says. It's one of the things Aemorniel loves and appreciates him for. She is happy that people of her land worry about her and care about her. It's what makes her decision she made the next day all the harder.
~Ardin and Aemorniel moving onto a new page in their relationship--when he knew she was going on the fight, he didn't try to stop her. Instead he took her hand and gave it a kiss and a rueful look that said all. I think marriage softened him
~THE CUT SCENE OF EPICNESS. I cannot think of a better way to see my three favorite witch hunter masters go. Seeing Lethias' death was one of the hardest parts and I was happy to be able to say goodbye to them all. A great ending to their Great Story. Kwildar's came out of left field for me, Aemorniel knowing well why Kwildar could find peace now, that for a moment she dropped to the ground and just sobbed that she couldn't see how Father Osred could do it. A deep breath and a squeeze of Almat's hand made her stand again. Couldn't find a better partner in the church of Chronicler honestly.
~Angelica always knows Aemorniel better than she knows herself and just knowing what was needed as she said who was lost. It must've been an odd sight to see me cry for her since I am usually the grounding force in the friendship.
~Taking care of last business for Lethias by giving the Baroness her gift from him. I hope my timing was right because she looked like she needed that.
~Saying my goodbyes to the Masters and Kwildar. I didn't cry--I don't know if I had any tears left in me at that point or acceptance--but I spoke from the heart to them. Shamis better be waiting for me on the other side when I pass on, that's all I have to say. Until we meet again my friends.
~Being up at ridiculous hours to deal with Dark Elves in the Barony till it was dawn. I can tell Sir Cinder is going to be seeing a lot of Aemorniel as she visits to take care of and uncondition her three newest rescues staying with him. Definitely one of her most fulfilling duties she's been asked to do.
Saturday
~Following the advice of the cards and having a very important conversation with Rudolph that hopefully won't end with friends of mine being mad at me.
~Chocolates for breakfast? Yes please.
~Misaki referring to Aemorniel as "The Quill" at the witch hunter meeting. It was a nice touch. Kiellor picked a good name for her and she was proud to see her fiancé stepping up into his role as the Representative for the Von Ritter House.
~The scribing of the four names by their students. Magnus having to really think about it because he didn't want to say anything dirty for Lethias. Then the speaking with the four students of Lethias about their wishes. Sometimes being a priestess is a bit of a headache or involves a bit of leg work but in the end, I did what I could.
~Thank the gods I have a photographic memory for things I write myself because I could remember all the locations of the chaos orbs to tell the Baroness during a discussion about the tears and holes they were turning into.
~Going on my first Lorestri mod. It was with the Baroness and a number of others Aemorniel often doesn't spend one-on-one time with so it was interesting for her to say the least. Also recorders must be harder to play than they look but DAMN I am impressed with how quickly Jen picked up the song for the most part. Also--great stories. It was fun to sing to the Lorestri to make her wander back because she would follow where the song would take her. LOVED that. It also was the most Aemorniel had ever spoken of her mother in a very long time. It felt good to be around song again for her.
~Long and great discussion with Valentine, Almat, and Maralas (forgive me if I spelled that wrong) about the gods, the church, etc. I noticed Aemorniel slams her fist a lot when she's passionate about something but I couldn't stop it once I became conscious of it. Still--great talks. Also--love giving lessons. Balance. Good night suffice to say.
~Playing poker instead of going on Main Mod--I haven't played in forever and learned quite a few new games.
~Going to the funeral down by the lake. I'm glad I went and handed off the wills for two of the four men. Though they were handled in private, it made me content to know I was doing my job as the Scribe for the Witch Hunter Academy.
Overall:

*The Thrush opens this event with an investigation for the Murderer of two gypsy children. Spreading the word to Gaje and Kindred alike, he discovers there was a Dark Dwarf involved. Huh...Thanks for your cooperation LeSebastion, Uncle Iuzinni, and others, particularly that new Dwarf player who quickly became defensive as I approached him.
*Quick vampire hunt. Leared that Travance doesn't appreciate it when you try to taunt the vampires. "Pesmerga needs his nails filed, bloodsuckers!"
*NPC shift. Was one of the vampires on the Pesmerga Mod Finale. Got mollywomped by the veteran players after they paid the life tag toll booth. I really hope you guys had as much fun and shed as many tears as you claimed you did.
*Was a very enthusiastic Chaos Warrior. Got pummeled by Wormwood for complemenrting his eye-gouging skills. Failed to body block Maxwell and Tari, and ended up being Waylayed and carried off to jail. Such is the life of a Chaos Warrior.
Saturday
*Syllus grants permission to his little Psion protege to use the Gilded Thrush as target practice. He turns the other cheek. The Thrush anticipates this shy Hexmage following in the Great Psion's footsteps perfectly. Good job, Jamie, no hard feeling if...or when, We get our revenge.
*After some aimless wandering through the proper, he rattles a strange tent in the middle of the woods (blue tent with leaves on it, maybe Clove's/Mark's?), only to overhear shouting near the Inn. He makes his way through the woods to find a gaggle of goblin doomsayers who may or may have not been worshipping a snake (wanted to say it was Glycon, but was afraid of losing face). The goblins babbled and spat, and seeing how much fun it looked, so did the Thrush, though with purpose! You see, the Goblins had a sign, but they cvouldn't read, so he decided the sign belonged to someone worthy its art and effort. After deftly infiltrating the prophets' circle, he got the jump on them in front of Kaledonia, where he encased two of the three in ice, snatched the sign, and proceeded to parade about the inn, showing off his ill-gotten banner in a crazed and delighted manner. Hm, thought Tobar would appreciate it more, but he was upset all moon! Oh well, even we Romani can't be jovial all the time! I gave him space.
*Charmed the barkeep into giving me Dragonsbreath on his own tab. Sweet!
*The Murderer reveals himself to the Thrush, genuinely guilty for what he had done. Well and good...But justice must still be served- Encase in Ice! Moira and Zafrin scold him for taking the law into his own hands, but their words glance off his thick ego. As the guard take over, the Thrush leaves the culprit a Hex as a parting gift. May your crimes not fall upon deaf ears.
*Feast was good! Needs more salt, though I'm no chef. Was happy to see Zach, Kelly, and Sam enjoy the dip I brought ,even if I forgot chips. Think of it as an apology for the Viktor and the Thrush being themselves. Should get better "soon". ^^;
*The Guardian Romani, shedding tears of not only his kindred Tobar's performance, but a Celt's too! Croi, you have stolen this silly Gyppo's heart! Seriously, Jen, in my short KR career, you are the only Bard so far to refer to player characters in your songs. By doing that you make the setting more cohesive, and create a sense of community even between complete strangers. I knew Magnus before, but now I know I well never forgot him, or that poor tree! Play on, friend, play on.
*Main Mod was nice. The spotlight was inventive and it was a cool contrast to past enemies, fighting parts of a larger creature. Was expected people dressed in giant foam hand costumes, colliding into unsuspecting players, but you can't have everything, hehehe.
*The Titan's deafening cry of defeat overwhelming him, the Gilded Thrush exists stage left. Enter Viktor, clueless and distressed as usual. Lost in the darkness, he followed the first group to leave the battlefield. Because it was the Guildmaster, Viktor immediately bailed and found himself, of all places, in Alisandria.
*Man, Kudos to everyone I encountered in Alisandira saturday night. You all managed to perfectly blend out-of-game friendliness and hospitality with in-game menace. Happy, eating, in-game banter, and then suddenly someone touching something they shouldn't and gets magical backlash! More banter- and whoa what did he knife him into serious for? It was all of you that make my event, in all honesty, so much so I'm deciding to stick with Alisandria as much as a non-vassal can!
*I guess I'd call it an "Autocerebrosectomy". Happy to finally see one of Bolton's fabled experiments. Viktor got to clean the tools!
*
Sunday
*Had to leave early for reasons. Aww.
Thanks go to Goose, Elias, Eddie, Kelly, Sam, Eve Frohm and her boyfriend, and the numerous other players whose names escape me. Hope to see you all at the ball.

I just wanted to bring my bedroll to the statehouse from the Inn! It would've been a safe jounrye if I hadn't turned the corner and say you imp-things hissing at the front door! Thankfully, Alisandria did come to my rescue. Thanks guys, you aren't so bad for being who you are! *shudder*Gypsy wild mage running from 5 whateverwewere until Alisandria finally came out.

I can't believe I forgot this! The Baroness was looking for a specific type of clergy member and when she realized I fit the bill, she and I spoke for a moment. She originally went to refer to Chronicler as a He but corrected herself and merely referred to Chronicler by its name--agreeing with me that Chronicler is neither male nor female as Aemorniel believes. It really touched me IG and OOG when Mixolydia said that when she thought of Chronicler she always used to think of Father Osred but now she's starting to think of me as well. I hope I can live up to that compliment, really I do.
